After receiving and sorting through hundreds
of responses
from media outlets and
readers of the
blog, the titles have been whittled down to 20 and the most popular books are highly favored.
A user might know the brand name
from their favorite
blog, they might be a loyal
reader, they might have seen one
of your offers on social media, or they might have just found your site through a basic search.
I know it's hard to quantify the type
of readers coming into your
blog, and that's a huge loss
from social media referrals.
The
readers of this
blog range
from beginners to advanced marketers.
I think I realized that my
blog was successful when I first started receiving emails
from readers who were saying that I helped them get out
of debt, make more money, follow their dreams, and so on.
The tip above is
from Brian's post on how a relatively new
blog received thousands
of readers using something called the Skyscraper Technique.
I recently had an affectionate email
from Steve, one
of the devoted
readers of this
blog.
As a
reader of Financial Samurai, I think you would agree that having a
blog is a great way to build a community, grow a brand, learn
from each other, and broaden our perspectives.
A long series like this is probably not the best way to use a
blog, since
readers come and go, and miss a post or two, and since the argument builds
from post-to-post, if someone is just jumping in or misses a few post, they won't understand the flow
of thought that brought us here.

blog and someone I consider an «online» friend.
That was the premise
of a Sunday Belief
Blog story that provoked more than 1,800 comments
from impassioned
readers.

of my

Private correspondence
from several
readers of the Postmodern Conservative
Blog expressed incredulity that I ever went to Kansas.
I received yesterday the following email
from a friend
of mine recuperating at the University
of Virginia Hospital, and I know he would have no qualms about sharing part
of it with the
readers of the Postmodern conservative
blog.
Based on the comments I received
from my
blog posts on the science and religion debate, I want to point Evangel
readers in the direction
of some resources that would inform the conversation because ---- with the exception
of a few interlocutors ---- pervasive ignorance and fear seem to....
(And, to my women
readers, thanks for putting up with a small sliver
of my
blog for a devotional series
from a man to men!
I'm sure that they're well aware... You can look forward to a concentrated barrage
of Catholic / Santorum / etc. bashing over the next few days in an attempt to distract the belief
blog readers from this.
This would be impossible to do without some sort
of service like Google
Reader which pulls all the
blog posts together into one place and lets me know on one simple screen when new posts have been published
from the various
blogs I am interested in reading.
So much
of this project has emerged
from conversations here on the
blog that I try to base decisions on
reader response as often as possible.
Last week, I used my Facebook page to get some feedback about the
blog from readers, and many
of you expressed a desire to see more posts on faith and parenting.

blog posts on the science and religion debate, I want to point Evangel
readers in the direction
of some resources that would inform the conversation because ---- with the exception
of a few interlocutors ---- pervasive ignorance and fear seem to prevail instead
of knowledge and faith.
Following the attempts by some
of the commenters (
from both sides
of the debate) to get simple «yes» and «no» answers
from each other to theological questions, I have a REAL LIFE situation to pose to the
readers of this
blog, and I want you to state with a simple «Yes» or «No» whether you believe the following woman is saved or not.
