This Nutella inspired granola gets it's flavor
from natural cocoa powder, plenty of
toasted hazelnuts, pure maple syrup and virgin coconut oil.

These Blackberry and
Toasted Hazelnut Muffins
from Tesco Real Food use 200g of blackberries and includes a fair amount of yoghurt (we use Total Greek Yoghurt, it's thick and stays on the spoon, vital when the toddler is aiming for her mouth and of course she loves it!)
Indgredients 2 ripe bananas 8 soft medjool dates 1 egg / or 1 tbsp chia or flax seed in 3 tbsp water 1 cup rolled oats / spelt / barley (100 g) 3/4 cup
toasted coconut flakes (45 g) 1/2 cup almonds /
hazelnuts, chopped (75 g) 1/2 cup chopped pistachio (50 g) hold back 1/3 of it to top with 1/2 cup cranberries (50 g) 2 tbsp sesame seeds / poppy seeds Zest
from 1 organic lemon 1 vanilla bean, scraped 1/4 - 1/2 tsp cardamom 1/2 cup white chocolate (50 g) if vegan use a vegan chocolate or leave out 1 tsp coconut oil A generous pinch of flaky sea salt
I was loving anything
hazelnut flavored, such as homemade
hazelnut butter,
toasted hazelnut and beet salad, or just eating them whole... straight
from the jar.
Aside
from the wonderful conversation, the salad of beets, avocado, citrus and
toasted hazelnuts was a highlight of the meal.
Toast the
hazelnut in the oven for 5 mins, then remove
from the oven and let them cool.
Doesn't hurt at all to splash a little cognac or wine into the mushroom pan near the very end; and I tossed piping hot pasta with a little cream and grated Vache de Vashon cheese

from scratch with great success, purchased unsweetened applesauce, and encountered some difficulty getting my
hazelnuts to become creamy (after
toasting and deskinning, they got to the texture of wet sand but would absolutely not get creamy).
