when I receive a precious gift like this one — a fresh locally grown
cherries, if I can't eat them all in once (and I usually can't), I just
freeze them.

when they are they are at cheapest $ 10 a kg, so could I use
frozen?
The jam can be a bit tricky, as 2 cups of
frozen cherries can shrink to 1 - 1 1/2 cups
when thawed, so follow these guidelines: if it turns out too thin, thicken it up with an extra teaspoon (or two) of chia seeds; too thick, thin it out with a bit of the reserved
cherry juice — unless you pitched the juice, then use water.

when your grocery bill spikes because you bought 10 lbs of
frozen cherries.

I love having
frozen cherries in my freezer with a couple of dark chocolate chips
when I need to satisfy my after dinner I - need - something - sweet craving.

when arials aren't available), tart
cherry juice (if I use strawberries instead of
cherries).
at least in my book... i got a hand me down pair from my cousin (circa 1986)... they had a
cherry syrup stain on them from
when she worked at the «tastee
freeze» and she made me a
cherry slushie... she couldn't get the stain out so wanted a new pair... i got the old ones i'm always happy w / my style if there's something just a little bit «off» in my outfit!
My overall preference, though, is to muddle
frozen cherries right in the shaker and not take an extra step in straining them, except with the shaker's strainer
when I pour the drink into the serving glass.
Frozen berries, grapes, and sweet
cherries are great in smoothies and make a terrific snack for
when you crave something sweet.
