RPSs require that a certain amount of
electricity generation be produced
by renewable
fuels.
As we have pointed out just once or twice — the need for 100 % of wind power capacity to be backed up 100 % of the time
by fossil
fuel generation sources means that wind power can not and will never reduce CO2 emissions in the
