full billing cycles before showing up.

This is especially true if you pay off the
full balance of your credit card
before the end of the monthly
billing cycle.
The better tactic is to use your cards regularly for small, reasonable purchases and pay off the balance in
full before the end of the
billing cycle.
However, in the case of credit card, you are borrowing money from your card issuer and you are expected to pay the money back either in
full or by making the minimum payment
before the end of the month or
billing cycle.
At or
before the end of each month or
billing cycle, pay the
bill in
full.
Another option if you're just beginning to build your credit is to opt for a low interest credit card and diligently pay small balances off in
full before the
billing cycle ends.
(And, if you pay your
bill in
full before the end of the
billing cycle, you'll do so without paying a dime in interest.)
If you plan to consistently pay your balance in
full before the end of the
billing cycle, you can avoid paying interest on your purchases.
However the trial works, you should be able to try software for at least 10 days (although a
full billing cycle is ideal)
before you buy.
