exercise?
Performing an
exercise for only 15 seconds at a time may not sound
too tough, but with a
full body exercise like the Sandbag Squat Press, it can be!
I would probably do a
full body workout, so incorporate some of these
exercises (one from each heading), with some lower
body and ab
exercises too.
For the
full body circuit, I would incorporate some glute and hamstring
exercises into that (and you can put some into your HIIT circuit
too).
Rather, my point of contention is that most people spend WAY
too much time focusing all of their efforts on abs - specific
exercises, instead of focusing their efforts on more effective
full body exercises that stimulate a much greater fat - burning and muscle building hormonal response, burn more calories, stimulate the metabolism to a higher extent, and also indirectly work the abs to a decent degree anyway.
Squatting makes
full use of the
body's range of movement, stretching,
exercising and healing — it is precisely the fact that Western society is socialised into sitting rather than squatting at a young age that leads to joints and the spine atrophying over a lifetime, leading to the stiffness and fusing of bones, arthritis, and a multitude of things from middle age onwards; a general loss of youthfulness — older people who have squatted all their lives appear more youthful, and they suffer fewer of the toilet - related ailments of Western society, but I suspect fewer joint and mobility related ailments
too, relating to the spine in particular.
