After a fitting boob - boob on my last shirt dress, I was psyched to do my
first full bust adjustment and I thought... wrongly as it turned out... that the simple lines and easy fit of the Darling Ranges Dress would be a good pattern to use for my first FBA attempt.
I did end up sizing down and that worked, although I think that if I ever make it again, I will actually size down once more, and do
a full bust adjustment instead for a better fit.
Luckily I don't need
a full bust adjustment (although gravity also worked on me as did the 2 little ones; — RRB --RRB-, as it seems always so complicated to do real adjustments to a pattern.
The concept behind doing
a full bust adjustment is to provide a well fitting garment for those of us larger than the cup size that the pattern is drafted for.
As for fitting, I did
a full bust adjustment and ended up adding both bust and waist darts to accommodate my ample bosom.
