Colin Hanks» wonderful documentary about the rise and fall of Tower Records, All Things Must Pass, was released on disc last week, and so I wrote
a full review of the film for Hammer to Nail.
Again, I can't offer up
a full review of the film, but I can say that Universal has every right to pay themselves on the back for releasing Your Highness.
At long last, Marvel's «Avengers: Infinity War» is set to open this Thursday evening, and with press screenings having taken place over the last couple of days, we finally have the first
full reviews of the film pouring in.

Not exact matches
Not only did Hayes end the game with either 3 or 3.5 sacks (pretty sure one
of his half sacks may be turned into a

film review), but he accomplished this while taking down Russell Wilson, one

Unfortunately, Gifted's cutesy classroom scenes are not quite up to the task
of digging into how Mary fits in with her classmates, and the
film quickly gives way to increasingly caricatured depictions...

The first
full day
of the festival saw several prominent titles make their Los Angeles
review, but the hot - ticket
film was Luca Guadagnino's Call Me By Your Name.
Say Anything... has also just made its DVD debut in the US this month, and
reviews of that disc are
full of praise for the new 16:9 anamorphic video transfer that's been done
of the
film under the director's supervision, making mention
of its detail, sharpness, colour saturation and perfect black levels.
The Cannes Film Festival is in
full - swing and acclaimed director Todd Haynes» (Carol, Far From Heaven) highly - anticipated adaptation
of Brian Selznick's YA novel Wonderstruck was one
of the first
films screened at the fest — and it was met with
reviews that ranged from raves to lukewarm.

Review: Greatly improving upon the initial barebones release
of the
film, the two - disc special edition
of «The
Full Monty» isn't going to blow you away, but it does offer quite a bit
of background material on the making
of the
film.
Jess then
reviewed the
film in
full in Goteborg, and loved it just as much, comparing it to Bresson's «A Man Escaped» and said that it's «as fine an exemplar
of its genre as we've ever seen.»
