The
prequel plot - lines are sure to be soapy,
as the CW will surely work hard to jam SATC into its GG mold, and even though the product might be vile, it sure does sound like it'll be
fun to watch.
Disney animators had
fun with this one, coloring mostly within the lines of the Pixie Hollow movies but slipping outrageously outside the margins every now and then
as they offer a rollicking
prequel to Peter Pan.
It's just part of why I think it works
as well
as it does, for
as much
as prequels have a tendency to take the
fun out of their predecessor's central mystery, Prometheus adds layers to the universe that began with the classic Alien.
But,
as redundant
as it may be, the film stands out from the
prequel crowd by being set in the early 1960s and having so much
fun with its period setting.
Not only was it a really
fun series, and a reminder of just how artistically skilled Akira Toriyama is, but also had a chapter that served
as a
prequel read to Dragonball.
