As you can see, Jimmy Fallon and Channing Tatum have thoroughly enjoyed the experience and the demo does look superb to help ease new comers of the technology into the experience by just having them use their hands and showing

It looks like a
fun enough
tutorial level, but not what i'd call the best foot forward in terms of what to show off when trying to promote the game.
As I got to the end of the
tutorial it became
fun when the balancing
leveled out.
There's a comprehensive (and
fun)
tutorial level that players can check out which gives you lots of great tips for
level building, but is you want to dive straight in without the
tutorial, it's easy enough to work out anyway — Just select your tiles from the menu then place them on the grid.
In fact, I think existing Metal Gear fans will be the hardest for The Phantom Pain to win over: the structure is just so different, and a few boring early
levels which are functionally
tutorials initially made me feel like they'd accidentally purged all the
fun elements out of Metal Gear.
Sending you against enemies that can kill you in three hits without a proper
tutorial or weapons, sporting confusing
level design that relies too much on backtracking to be
fun, and an overall lack in the variety of enemies or loot drops that makes the latter
levels so memorable.
While many people may find the combat and
leveling experience
fun, there is very little to test one's PvE mettle once the 50
level «
tutorial» is finished.
