I got to spend time
with loved ones, listen to live music and

fun project (if frustrating at times) to

with a great team of people, and I learnt lots about how computer games are brought to life - so much so, that I was inspired to then pursue a venture of my own, Lunartics - which I hope one day will be made into a game

project is about American popular culture which will focus is more
on figurative painting... that will be a very
fun project... especially since figurative painting is not a medium that I often
work with.

project, Charles Esche, Maria Lind, Chus Martinez, Jens Hoffmann, Ralph Rugoff, Sofia Hernandez, my ol' colleague Mark Beasly (a great curator), the experiments and levity of Joseph Del Pesco, just recently the people at Weeksville Heritage Center, the awesome constant rethinking of Kate Fowle at ICI, at times the experimental approach of Hans Ulrich Obrist (the man has so much energy), the education programs at the Walker and the Hammer, the
projects of Christine Tohme at Ashkal Alwan in Beirut, the
work of Fulya Erdemci and Theo Teeglaers at SKOR, the writings of Sue Bell Yank, Shannon Jackosn, Gregory Sholette, Yates McKee, Jahleh Mansoor, Boris Groys (though I don't usually agree
with him), and Claire Bishop (though I don't agree often
with her either, haha).
Each year I
work with several hosts around the world
on their
projects and bring in a workshop full of
fun and interesting people.
In this year's edition there is both «trending» and «most searched» data available for countries around the world across a wide variety of topics and when you look at certain sets, you just know the Googlers who
work on this
project have a ton of
fun with it.
And we think it's gonna be a lot more
fun to do that
work with more than you, and so rather than limiting our community or our tribe to just a couple hundred people who have been to TBD, we wan na make sure that you all have the opportunity to find that tribe, to
work on this
project together.
It's
fun to
work together
on a
project, and it would be even more enjoyable
with a better structure and process.
Solving problems and
working on projects will also become more
fun if you make an effort to be friends
with your coworkers.
Sometimes I can't tell if it is a good thing or not to get all of this inspiration to make more DIY
projects, when I can't quite keep up
with the ones I'm already
working on — but it sure is
fun to see what other bloggers are doing.
