public funds into government - authorized savings accounts that can be used to pay for private school tuition, online learning programs, private tutoring, educational therapies, or college costs.
Even though statistics prove that art

funding for art and music and other creative instruction is continually one of the first program cuts

from Kenmore, Lakeshore, Hamburg and across WNY are expected to rally at Sen. Mark Grisanti's office to «hold him accountable for breaking his promise to fully

from funding, there's a lot of anticipation about what Cuomo will propose regarding charter schools, to which
public education advocates say he is overly beholden due to the big money he has received
from deep pocketed charter boosters.

public spending cuts will wound a sector bolstered by injections of
funding under Labour
from the mid-90s when money was redirected away
from universities to early years learning and further
education.

In my judgment, that kind of leadership will require a comprehensive and sustained effort
from both our
public and private sectors — including a robust investment in
education (especially the STEM fields), a federal commitment to research and development, a renewed emphasis on next generation manufacturing, translating federally
funded breakthroughs to commercial applications in the private sector, an immigration policy that enables us to recruit and retain the best and brightest scientists
from around the world, and appropriate tax, regulatory, and legal policy.

Proponents of greater
public funding for early childhood
education (ECE) argue that too many children, often those
from challenged communities and homes, arrive for kindergarten with insurmountable development gaps and that low - income and disadvantaged children who are exposed to high - quality pre-K programs gain lifelong benefits.

funded account that can be put toward multiple but limited uses: private - school tuition, tutoring
