Throw
in Neil Patrick Harris — once again playing the Bizarro World version of himself — shattered and reinforced redneck stereotypes and a delightful take on Dubya [here, he may not speak real good English, but he's slyer, smarter and mellower than we are expecting] and the result is a solidly
funny movie that Says Something more by highlighting the characters of Harold and Kumar than by the political
jokes.

jokes in the

in context, they are really
funny) and always manages to surprise.

jokes, I didn't personally care for, such as Michael Cera (Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, Year One) playing against public image as a coke - snorting whoremonger
in a performance that seems to be channeling Neal Patrick Harris from the Harold and Kumar
movies, or Danny McBride and inability to control his impulses, but there were certainly some audience members
in the theater viewing I attended that found these things especially hilarious; comedy truly is
in the
funny bone of the beholder.

There are far too many laughs
in «Sorority Rising» to enumerate everything that works about this sequel, and it's telling that the few botched gags stick out like sore thumbs — one overextended

movie is too
funny to take for granted.
