Reflecting on her aerial vantage point, one of the defining aspects of her work, John Yau writes in the exhibition catalogue, «In her carefully chosen views, Jacquette synthesizes solitariness and specificity, the anonymous and the particular, as well as
further inflects this postmodern condition by making us feel as if we have lost our basic
connection to the
earth, and are floating or hanging somewhere in the air.»
Lindzen states «In
connection with this question we can go a bit
further, and state that increasing CO2 is likely
to cause some climate change, and that the resulting change will involve average warming of the
earth.»
