The decision said that, when officers had probable cause to believe an emaciated horse was being subjected to neglect, a warrantless search was justified under the exigent circumstances exception to the Fourth Amendment to prevent
further imminent harm to the horse.
If the court concludes contact between a child and a parent will place the child in
imminent danger of serious
harm, the judge may issue an order either temporarily terminating that parent's access to the child or require the parent's visitation to be supervised until
further order of the court.
