I was privileged earlier this month to be invited to deliver the keynote address at the 2013
Futures Conference organised by the College
of Law Practice Management and held at the Chicago - Kent College
of Law.
I also had the pleasure to work with Ed in helping to plan the
Futures Conferences that the College
of Law Practice Management put on last fall in Denver, and the one planned for this fall in Washington, DC.
The College
of Law Practice Management is a terrific organization and its annual
Futures Conferences have, for me, always provided interesting takeaways about what's coming in our profession.
The awards will be presented Friday, October 27, at a special lunch session during the 2017

future for me in the first two categories (and there likely never was) but I am intrigued by the last three categories, many
of which would describe colleagues with combined
law practice and information science working experience working in the field
of knowledge
management.
