losing my personality in a
sea of green and gold.
Lost Sea is a 3D strategy - action
game that takes place inside a procedurally generated archipelago.
Although
Lost Sea provides fun, laid - back gameplay alongside a colourful, cel - shaded world, a lack of depth and some restrictive design choices may limit the scope of the
game.
With a premise such as the one we have here,
Lost Sea could have been a fun hack n slash survival
game.
This, combined with subpar visuals and fairly simplistic gameplay, makes
Lost Sea an unrecommendable title compared to similar
games on Xbox One.
Lost Sea is an overall fun survival
game, but it has too many flaws that keep it from being as good as it could be.
All in all,
Lost Sea is a
game that plays well, but rather than attempting to be a roguelike
game, it should have focused on a strictly action / adventure style.
Swimming in circles — Despite each area in
Lost Sea being procedurally generated, there's not enough variety to keep the
game interesting for long and repeated playthroughs.
Being an explorative action - adventure
