Not exact matches
It doesn't move
at the
breakneck pace of most
games nowadays, nor does it ever seem particularly concerned to address some of the plot points or character gaps it leaves dangling, but those that take the chance on the full Quantum Break experience (episodes and all) will find a quirky and unique experience waiting that you just won't see replicated anywhere else.
I normally don't pay too much attention to racing
games in these pages — the last racing
game I truly loved was Al Unser Jr.'s Turbo Racing for the NES — but I thought this would be a fun one to play in conjunction with Ron Howard's new film, Rush, which stars Thor and some other handsome guy racing Formula One cars and scoring chicks
at a
breakneck pace.
The
game is a slow burn
at times (compared to faster -
paced 3D platformers), and relies more on methodical movements and logical thinking rather than twitching reflexes and
breakneck speeds.
While the transition from the
breakneck pacing of Act 3 to the total grind session of Act 4 may have sullied my final impression of the
game (and that's why the
game sits
at the bottom of my top five instead of near the top), Shadow of War remains a title I still play today as I'm in the midst of finishing Act 4 and cleaning up any remaining trophies I've yet to earn.
I've mentioned the
pacing of Inner Chains is much slower than I am used to in horror
games where most of the time I find myself running around shooting everything
at a
breakneck pace.
