There's something really cool about seeing the pixel art moving in three dimensions, and it makes
the game feel lively but silly at the same time.

So we needed to create a design that was
lively, fast, and, where possible, really
felt like an arcade
game.
Speaking of grahpics they are certainly a stand out feature in this
game, bright and
lively these are far from the standard brown shooters of the modern era that we have to look at, the character models are all well detailed, not to mention that they move around as you race, sometimes dancing around the vehicle or other little things that help make them
feel more alive.
As I said, narratively it does
feel like things are back to square one a little with any character growth Rufus achieved in the first
game getting reset and Goal spending a lot of the time as three different people, but there's some genuinely great moments between them, as well as some fairly dark moments later in the story that contrasted the otherwise
lively and bright humor of the
game nicely.
echochrome ii «s music is very similar to the first
game, mainly the orchestral strings, but it
feels fresher and
livelier.
The characters have that
lively feel from characters seen in Overwatch and provide a sense of enjoyment while playing the
game.
It has mostly succeeded in making the Xbox One
feel a little
livelier and much, much friendlier with the introduction of «real name» support, but we still miss seeing pop - ups when our friends come online, and when they start playing the same
game as us.
Whereas the original
game is often sombre in tone, X-2 is a much more
lively and light hearted affair, to the point that it
feels more like a spinoff than it does a true sequel and, for many existing Final Fantasy X fans, the change was too jarring to digest, and will be for many yet to play the two
games.
Now, granted, you don't have any real influence over what's on your ship and where it's found, but it
feels as if the ship grows, developers and becomes
livelier as the
game goes on.
While Disgaea 2 PC had
lively character animations and spritework, one thing I
felt that the
game lacked was the sense of the maps
feeling like real places that a character would actually go to, since some of those maps lacked any sort of colorful «border» to indicate that they were in an enclosed area, which meant that some levels simply
felt as if they were floating in space.
There would also be a significant departure in terms of gameplay — for starters, Gotham City would
feel more
lively due to the presence of the population (unlike the Arkham titles) and due to a proper day / night cycle (which the recent Batman
games lacked, as they were invariably set during nighttime).
