As I said, they justly said in that video that this is greatly inspired from Mario 3D Land and that they added new ideas,
which surely mean they added new elements of gameplay / ennemies, environments, etc based on the 3DLand
formula to do improvements on it, and they also said that they primarly wanted to do a multiplayer
game and thought that 3D Land
formula was the most adapted for that
