Feeling
like you just made a discovery on your own is what makes this
game and
games like Portal work so well.
Like in Valve's original
games, momentum is conserved as you pass through a

portal chain reactions.
I think the best way to summarize the difference between these two
games is that Dragon Quest Builders is a Japanese RPG with Minecraft -
like elements, while
Portal Knights is a Minecraft -
like video
game with classic RPG elements.

The original
Portal was all about solving puzzles and learning this never before seen «weapon» to traverse a maze -
like level, everyone who completed the
game felt
like the smartest person in the world and there were multiple ways to solve a room.
Certainly inspired by
games like Portal, The Stanley Parable and even Minecraft this puzzle
game has made pressing buttons more fun than anything before it.
Its been in Early Access on Steam and while I haven't personally played the PC version (I'm interested in and have been following this, but am already occupied with
games like Portal Knights and the awesome Dragon Quest Builders to hop into another crafting
game at the moment), from people who HAVE posted gameplay videos of that version on Youtube, you can see them hopping between First - Person and Third - Person views a bunch:)
I can't talk for the
Portal Knights team or any difficulties they may be experiencing with the Switch version of the
game, but I'll definitely pass along the concern / feedback to them, I can guarantee you at least that they care a LOT about their
game / brands just
like I do!
