It's not like a major publisher will re-arrange their launch plans just because
the game reaches completion a few days earlier, especially when the last few months have been spent on giving the game a high polish.

There's plenty to do in the
game, and you could be playing it for weeks to
reach 100 %
completion, between the unlockables hidden throughout the world, the special missions, the challenge levels, and the admirable - but - hopeless pursuit to get a perfect score for every battle.
The
completion of certain
games can also take a long time, with players often devoting weeks, months, and even years to
reach endgame content.
Sadly, I can't overlook a negative experience I had when playing Batman Arkham Origins Blackgate; on my first playthrough and near
completion of the
game I ran into a
game breaking glitch which didn't allow me to
reach an area in the
game.
The final Fable
game, Fable Legends, never
reached completion, and card
game Fable Fortune didn't do much to fill the hole left behind.
After nearly 35 hours of exploring Hallownest to
reach 100 %
completion, I can assure you it will never be too late to go back and play this wonderful
game.
I believe this positive, collaborative attitude both increased the quality of the
games and improved their chances of
reaching completion.
