Most of the time video game trailers don't spoil anything but I guess their are some that do.
You can add dramatic structure through your choice of gameplay footage and the way it's edited, the music, pacing of your edit, etc etc... It's really important to focus and spend a lot of time on this, since most game trailers don't do this at all.
But despite the criticisms, the Honest
Game Trailer does say that Bungie has taken «the complaints from the previous game to heart.»

At this point in time anyone pre-ordering will be
doing so based solely on the one cinematic
trailer release so far and also the high quality of past Rockstar releases — there's pretty much no concrete information about the
game just yet.
Overall, this
trailer does an excellent job of making you want to play the
game, and more companies should take note.

trailer has been released for Beyond Good & Evil HD in which you can see the newly revamped visuals, it certainly doesn't look like a
game that came out in 2003.

We don't expect much to happen in the final days of 2017, however when the new year dawns, we're fairly certain we'll be seeing a whole lot more of this
game in the news, with new screenshots,
trailers, reveals and details popping up gradually.
However, the company
did share a new
trailer for the
game during Sony's PSX stream last week, which showcases more of the
game's story, as well as the aforementioned Mega Man armor.
Judging by its
trailer, the upcoming Battleship has a flimsier claim to the title of that Milton Bradley board
game than Real Steel
does to Rock»Em Sock»Em Robots.
I won't deny that this is an effective
trailer (even though it tells us nothing about the actual gameplay), but I
do think it's only getting praised because it is advertising a video
game.

Trailer breakdowns are usually something I reserve for
games we don't know much about, since we tend not to know too...
so i go and
do some serious research on the wii u. more recently i just went and read up on / watched
trailers and gameplay footage for monster hunter ultimate, pikmin 3, wonderful 101, and the Monolith Soft wii u
game, and i just have to say... these trolls are full of shit.

Is it me or
does the
trailer make the
game look a teeny bit last generation?
While we
did receive a batch of new screenshots with each delay announcement and two
trailers in total, that's not a lot to show for over a year of anticipation, and we're already almost half a year beyond the
game's initial launch period.
After releasing a selection of high - quality screenshots, including both stills from the
trailer and images from the
game that
did not appear in that footage, they've revealed yet another batch.
With some
games, people get almost as excited about new
trailers and information as they
do the
games themselves.
However, there is one main reason why this isn't particularly believable — this area
does not fit into the Wild West theme of the
game, which, based on the
trailer, is central to Red Dead Redemption 2's style.
Not as good as the first
trailer for the first
game but it
does give an idea of what DI2 will be going for.
There's nothing really new in there, but the
trailer does serve as a pretty good reminder of everything the
game has to offer!
The
game is great for what it is, but i really wish it
did turn out to be as emotional and story focused as that first
trailer.
