Havoc, the first DLC pack for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare (2014's top - selling console video game in the world, according to the NPD Group and Gfk based on physical
game unit sell - through), is coming to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and PC on 26th February.

The data, which was compiled by the NPD Group, a research firm that tracks the U.S. gaming industry, suggests that Nintendo
sold more
units of the Switch's most popular
games than
units of the hardware itself.
The Xbox 360 displaced both Nintendo and Sony to lead the video
game industry in 2011, in large part because of its novel Kinect motion - sensing controller, which overtook the iPad to become the fastest -
selling electronic device ever and has shipped 18 million
units to date.

The Switch has had a tremendous initial lineup of

units sold).
While actual sales data isn't available yet, «early» market checks suggest the
game is also helping Nintendo
sell more Wii U
units, she adds.
Super Mario 64, for instance proved Nintendo could make an appealing 3D video
game, and
sold like gangbusters, notching nearly 12 million
unit sales.
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, essentially a remake of the Wii U
game,
sold 3.54 million
units.
Nintendo announced Wednesday that Super Mario Maker, its new
game for the Wii U in which players build their own Mario levels, has
sold 1 million
units globally.
The bright spot for the
game maker continues to be its portable 3DS system, which was the top -
selling console in the U.S in 2013 with more than 11.5 million

In its first 10 months on the market, it became the fastest -
selling game console in U.S. history, and the company expects to
sell 14 million
units by its first anniversary.
Even though the Wii U
game has only been out for a few weeks, «Super Mario Maker» has already
sold over 1 million
units — and it has «fan developers» raving.
Per a new scoop from German site ComputerBase, popular graphics card manufacturer NVIDIA is reportedly pressuring European retailers to focus on
selling graphics processing
units (GPUs) to video
gamers.
While many stores are reportedly
sold out — forcing fans to shell out higher prices on the secondary market if they can not wait to get the new console — the original retail price of the basic
unit (white, 8 GB memory) is $ 300, while a deluxe set (black, 32 GB, includes GamePad charging cradle and NintendoLand
game) retails for $ 350.

During the PSP's run, the portable won over Japanese players with

I'm pretty sure they're trying to keep from taking more away from Switch than taking more away from Animal Crossing since they're kind of wanting 100 million or more Switch
units, and no way in the world they're
selling 100 million Animal Crossing
games.
Talking of Mario Kart 8, the
game really benefited from the launch of Splatoon: it
sold over 11 000
units during week 22, mainly thanks to new Wii U owners buying the Premium Pack with the
game bundled.
This is quite the decent start, though it certainly pales compared to Puzzle & Dragons Z which
sold over 500 000
units at launch (but it was right before Christmas, and many parents picked up the
game for their children then).
Yacht Club
games said that the Switch version of Shovel Knight
sold more
units out of the gate than any other version of the 3 year old title.
«Grand Theft Auto V is now
sold in 95 million
units worldwide, reflecting its status as the highest rating title of the current console generation and the must have
game for purchasers of Play Station 4 and XBOX 1», CEO Strauss Zelnick told investors.

This has turned out to be an incredible decision from Capcom because the
game was announced to have shipped 7.5 million
units worldwide, also making it one of the best
selling Capcom
game ahead of any Resident Evil or Street Fighter release.
The Nintendo Switch
sells 10 million
units worldwide in 2017, but how does that compare to other big video
game console releases?
Today, Nintendo announced via Twitter that the
game had
sold over 1 million
units in that region alone, which is a pretty impressive number.
The
game sold whooping 30,40,000
units worldwide in first three days.
Well, I know the rumours say Q3, or even Q4 to have Animal Crossing Switch (and 3DS,) to be a Holiday
game to help ship
units, but given what we saw last year when the Switch released and every month since, as long as Nintendo have
units to ship and
sell,
sell they will, so a Holiday release isn't something that would need to happen.
Unless the
game doesn't
sell in the long run like pretty much all other mainline Kirby
games, it's looking pretty likely that it will
sell over 1 million
units LTD (maybe even this year).

units worldwide over the 30 years since its release.
In just two months, it has now shipped 7.5 million
units across Japan, America and the rest of the world making it the fastest
selling game from Capcom to reach this milestone.
Combined, both versions of the
game have
sold at least 646 062
units (513 038 + 133 024) since launch.
The Wii U version of the
game did not chart this week, so we don't know how many
units it's
sold.
Since the
game is yet to release in the west it could still reach that goal, considering that Windwaker
sold like crap in Japan and that did a million
units.
Super Mario Odyssey is the second highest debut for a Nintendo Switch
game, following Splatoon and its impressive 671 000
units sold in 3 days.

Perhaps surprisingly, Clapfoot's massively multiplayer online war
game Foxhole, currently available on Steam Early Access, managed to beat StudioMDHR's Cuphead (which recently passed the mark of over two million
units sold).
The third edition of this
game from 2012
game managed to
sell over 16 000
units during its launch week, which is pretty good.
As is the case with most new pieces of PlayStation hardware, the «old»
unit will likely continue to
sell for quite some time, and more
games will continue to arrive for it.
For retail sales, the
game managed to
sell 445k
units according to Nintendo, but adding in digital sales brings that number to more than 500k in the United States alone.
While
units shipped doesn't necessarily equate to
units sold, it's still a solid indicator of the
game's popularity.
Dragon Quest boosted the 3DS to the top spot,
selling 142k
units while the
game pushed Sony's PS4 to 93k.
