Perhaps even bigger than this is the requirement of the Wii Mote in order to really play anything in the game as

Unlike the New Super Mario Bros series... The
only two problems I have with this game is that the loading screens are a little longer than Returns, and there's no
gamepad function, you can't even touch the
gamepad screen to select anything.

Gamepad's motion controls are wonky and off putting, the Walker mode is a pain in the ass to control, and Star Fox 64 just had more interesting levels in general (and in that game, you could just aim and shoot instead of having to wave the
Gamepad around the room like an idiot to hit anything accurately).
Then again, seeing the two Wii U
gamepads in the picture, I can
only assume which company you are more interested in supporting.

They already confirmed you can play the Wii games by
only using the
gamepad if you so choose so I'm sure you can do the same with «classic» games.
The current battery is ok for now, mainly because my extended play sessions have been with the pro controller, and the
gamepad has
only been used for Nintendo Land (which I don't play for long periods).
You know, even though we can emphasize with these companies and their economic difficulties in today's industry, it still holds true this means little to the Wii U owner that receives a late to market product, no doubt at full price and what is
only at this point in time a «promise» of game enhancing
gamepad integration's.
The player is allowed to take any part of the HUD display as well as some character actions and not
only map them to the
GamePad screen, but also place them where he wants.
Another annoyance is when I entered the online mode with the

only detected one player but entering with the Pro Controller made it detect two players.
