Not exact matches
The
gameplay keeps up perfectly and the crowds don't cause any
issues.
Gameplay consists of your standard
issue team deathmatch or capture the flag, but there are enough maps to
keep things feeling fresh.
And while Unity is a solid experience,
gameplay mechanics are hardly groundbreaking and troublesome technical
issues keep the game grounded.
I'd love to go on and on about the massive amount of
gameplay that can be done later on in the game but I need to point out a few
issues, you can see straight away Shoppe
Keep is a port and from the looks of things hasn't been done very well, the pictures used on the purchasing menu are too difficult to see to a point that you can't read the writing at all, even the pause menu is setup for a mouse, the 5 options would have been easy to scroll up and down with your thumbstick or D - pad but it has been left as a point and click cursor as a console player this didn't cut the mustard for me.
If money is not an
issue and you're a twin sticking fan, then you'll find a game that is not at all bad, delivering plenty of explosions, some smooth
gameplay and enough mindless alien killing action to
keep you busy.
The overall
gameplay is still fun, but
issues like these
keep Hotline Miami 2 from surpassing its predecessor.
