The wonky Spell

game really fails to capture the
magic of both genres it attempts to fuse together.

At a point when a series like Resident Evil has largely long turned its back on its survival horror roots, ZombiU is a
game that recalls such
games, but also brings its own interesting and inventive ideas to the genre and, at the same time, has the distinction of being one of the most interesting launch titles that, whilst not perfect, is an absorbing and unnerving experience that succeeds at making use of the capabilities of the
system, without ever managing to feel gimmicky and, as such, it's a strong early demonstration of the
magic of Wii U.

Intense combat action
game with powerful
magic system that takes the series back to its roots but with all new
game play features that utilize the full power of the Xbox 360.
Filled with excellent and really challenging boss fights (really, really if you aren't prepared with balloon
magic) that caused me to truly learn and master the combat

game is fun, and the ability to incrementally level up your skills and
magic within the framework of a traditional FF job
system offers some welcome differences from the MH formula.
