A twist on this would be to skip the
pasta, and swap in the equivalent of a can of
garbanzo beans (rinsed, drained).
Sea salt 1 29 - ounce can diced tomatoes 1 tomato, chopped 1 1/2 cups green lentils 2 15 - ounce cans
garbanzo beans, drained 6 ounces vermicelli
pasta 3 eggs, lightly beaten Juice of 2 lemons 12 cups water
Make a Middle Eastern - inspired
pasta dish by adding
garbanzo beans to penne mixed with olive oil, feta cheese and fresh oregano.
Normally, I would have used chickpeas (aka
garbanzo beans), brown rice or some type of
pasta, but was pleasantly surprised that the cannellini
beans worked so well in my vegan minestrone soup I've been wanting to share.
Choose vegetables that you see from any dish on the menu and pair it with brown rice,
pasta or quinoa along with a plant protein like a veggie burger, black
beans,
garbanzo beans, tofu, lentils or even avocado.
I always have
pasta, jasmine rice, a few kinds of
beans (
garbanzo and pinto at least), onions, canned tomatoes, tomato paste, and vegetable bouillon in my kitchen (plus olive oil, balsamic vinegar, flour, sugar, salt, pepper, and spices - start at the most versatile and see what you need).

I noticed long ago that sprouting grains and
garbanzo beans improves the taste of the resulting flour, so I decided to sprout the mung
beans for this
pasta as well.

pasta tossed with garlic, spinach, white kidney
beans (or

beans, and lentils are favorites).
While the vegetable mixture is still hot, add the cooked
pasta, goat cheese,
