When Pedro Almenez finally called it a day after twenty - two
years between the sticks for Spanish amateur club Espira he was presented with a parting gift of one of the club's
goals, complete with netting, which he set up in his
garden as a hammock!
While we've accomplished a good amount of projects over the
years, like our dining room makeover, adding custom window trim, adding landscaping and planting a
garden, turning a bedroom into a craft room, and ridding numerous rooms of «builder beige», we still have plenty of dreams and
goals for our forever home!
This
year's
goal is to create greater community engagement at the Tribute
Garden site with the intention of sharing valuable awareness and resources with our community, particularly our young community members while engaging them in a an experiential learning community service project.
Create The Good, with EIF's iParticipate campaign, is helping the Teaching
Garden meet their
goal to get 1,000
gardens opened in schools across the country over the next couple of
years.
