(we have friends that can't eat whole onion pieces and the kids don't
like garlic pieces but everyone eats when we use the granulated (dried) forms).
Brush the toasted bread with the
cut garlic pieces until fragrant and tear into 3/4» pieces.
When the mixture is smooth (except for
the garlic pieces of course), start adding the clam juice gradually, stirring well after each addition.
I burned
the garlic pieces and used them anyway, you probably could just do the whole head of garlic in the oven and add the roasted garlic to the pesto recipe.
Strain out
the garlic pieces and put them in your compost.
I drink the water and just swallow
the garlic pieces without chewing.
Leave to marinate (Tip: try stuffing
the garlic pieces inside the cuts you've created).
