I used coconut vinegar and about 1 tsp of
garlic powder because that's what I had.
I left out
the garlic powder because I ran out, but otherwise stuck to the recipe and it was perfect!
I made it without raisins and celery, and used onion and
garlic powder because I didn't have fresh — and it came out great!
I also used onion and
garlic powder because my kids are picky.

Made the bread tonight as per the recipe book «ml» and «g» measurements, and subbed in walnuts for almonds
because that's what I had — Just testing a slice covered in my home made walnut and kidney bean spread... Yummy Think I need a touch more salt but I'm always a bit worried about over seasoning... I used mixed herbs but think I would love to add some
garlic (
powder maybe) next time, and use selected herbs rather than the commercial mix.
In keeping with my healthy sandwich / pita idea, I decided to use ground chicken breast to make the curry - spiced chicken patties
because it's really lean and takes on whatever flavors you throw at it, in this case:
garlic, ginger, onion, jalapeno, scallions, curry
powder, and other spices.
I think that's
because there's very little broccoli flavor to it — once you boil the snot out of the broccoli and add
garlic, onions, jalapenos, lime juice, cilantro, cumin, and chili
powder, somehow the broccoli just melts away, and all you're left with is something deliciously guacamole - like.

because it's easier and takes out some of the «bite» that comes with fresh
I didn't change anything (besides adding a little salt and
garlic powder during cooking)

Because I typically use homemade stock that is unsalted, I use sea salt, cracked black pepper, granulated
garlic, onion
powder, and crushed red pepper pretty liberally when I make this.
Because I had added porcini
powder to the broth at the beginning, after cooking it with the thyme, crushed
garlic, peppercorns and bay leaves... I strained it into a large bowl with a fine sieve and then strained it back into the pot with a piece of cheesecloth in the sieve to remove the
powder and clarify the broth.

This, I think, is quite necessary to produce a Madras curry at its best,
because there are ingredients in the paste which can not enter into a
powder — tamarind, green ginger, a very little
garlic, almonds, mustard oil, etc..
One thing that is critical to remember though, especially for
garlic freaks such as myself: do not use more
garlic than required
because you use only fresh cloves of
garlic in pesto and not
powdered or flaked.
But not,
because it meant just that many more chips!Then, I whipped up a quick olive oil blend of oregano, pepper,
garlic powder, and onion
powder, and brushed the little triangles with them.Then baked in the oven for 10 — 12 minutes and homemaaaddeee pita chips!!

The Animal Planet training show, It's Me or the Dog, suggested adding a little
garlic powder to chicken
because dogs love it.
