I love the Hunger Games series — both the books and the films — but even I kinda
gave Mockingjay, Part 1 some side - eye, because it really felt like the first part of a story, rather than a film in and of itself.

I really like the moments they chose to highlight, especially Cinna (Lenny Kravitz in another bit of good casting)
giving Katniss the
Mockingjay pin.
It's all come down to this for Katniss Everdeen (Lawrence) who was
given the title of the
Mockingjay.
Ryan Coogler, Michael B. Jordan and Sly Stallone
give the «Rocky» spinoff a fighting chance to upset «
Mockingjay — Part 2» in its second week
Having said that,
given the surprising quality of the Catching Fire adaptation, I'm keen to see how Francis Lawrence and co. treat the very heavy
Mockingjay story.
