Powering the Ssangyong Tivoli in India could be Mahindra's brand new 1.6 litre Petrol engine from the recently launched mFalcon range of Petrol engines and a 1.6 litre diesel motors mated to either six speeds manual and automatic
gearbox options coupled to front wheel drive layout only.

The various engine
options include the LS3, LS7, LS9 or LT1 — all
coupled up to a Ricardo six - speed manual
gearbox and mechanical limited slip differential.
Both engines will be
coupled to a 5 - speed manual transmission, but a DSG
gearbox option could also be offered soon.

options are expected to include 1.5 - liter petrol and diesel engines
coupled to 6 - speed manual and automatic
gearboxes.
A
