BTW, on my sample piece, the only thing I had a little bit of trouble getting out was pink
gel food coloring that I let sit on the sample for 30 minutes.

One technique was to use paintbrushes and
gel food coloring.
Only use
gel food color or powdered food coloring.

gel food colorings, like in the AmeriColor Soft Gel Paste Kit will solve the problem!
