the gender of the adjudicators (including tribunal members) with whom I had to contend starting in the year 2000.

of the convention's text and reject sexual orientation or
gender - identity claimants.
The Supreme Court
of Canada has interpreted membership in a social group as inclusive
of sexual orientation and most, if not all, Canadian
adjudicators likely now accept
gender identity as an analogous ground.
