reader of some kind; however, those who did not own a
reader had no plans to
buy one.
Most
readers buy books online, so it's absolutely essential to have a presence online in
general (in the form of a website) and to have search engine optimization done to your website so internet users interested in your genre can actually find your site and your book.
This is a red flag against them, because in
general readers don't want to receive a deluge of subpar books or they will gradually stop
buying them, and that's exactly what happened.
These days lots of people own eBook
readers, and anyone who enjoys reading in
general should at least consider
buying one of these devices.
