$ 300 is a touch steep for a Nintendo
console, especially since (as they've shown in the last couple

generation of consoles.
The tech is
there, costs, volume
of parts for production will be, importantly we're well into this
generation, a standard length
of time for a Sony games
console and more importantly developers want a bigger canvas to make their art.
However,
there are many fallen or dormant franchises that deserve a second chance and with the arrival
of a new
generation of consoles, what better time to resurrect some
of these overlooked franchises.
We're probably nearing the end
of this
generation, with rumours
of the PS5 already starting to swirl and whilst we may still have a few years left until we get to the new
generation of consoles,
there's no denying both companies are working on the next step.
There's no denying that this
console was a juggernaut in its day, and it reigned supreme for the majority
of its
console generation (in terms
of popularity and performance).
Obviously, EA is not about to go second - party in the 8th
generation of consoles, but for a few months

of rather lean years for racing game fans at the outset
of this
console generation,
there's now a wealth
of games to choose from, covering all angles
of the genre.
The low polygon 3d environments that retro games fully operate on may be hard to swallow for the
generation of gamers who were raised on AAA games on newer
consoles onwards, but I believe I speak for most
of us gamers (as part
of the first wave
of millennials) that
there is an unspeakable, unmentionable, and undoubtable charm to explore worlds that are totally otherworldly, even if they are a byproduct
of being a technical limitation.
From classic older games like Donkey Kong and Space Invaders, all the way through to the current
generation of consoles,
there's sure to be something here that appeals to everyone.

there to be multiple pack - in games over the course
of a
console generation.

generation of console gaming may be a little light in terms
of big AAA - titles so far, but
there hasn't been a shortage
of things to play thanks to the ever - growing list
of talented indie developers who are more than happy to release their games to a community starving for something new.

of a new
console generation is an important learning curve for developers, helping teams to, as Hunt says, «get a grounding in the new technology without risking the future
of the entire studio».

of you guys getting a confirmation for the current
generation console versions
