By the time the fourth
generation iPad hits shelves, we'll already have a good grasp as to
whether the next decade
of game development will belong to Canada — or someone else
The truth is that several
generations of football fans,
whether Arsenal supporters from 1996, Monaco supporters from 1987 or admirers
of his generally attacking and exciting brand
of football, fell in love with the
game thanks to Arsène Wenger.
Generations of players hovered around the floor during
games, heatedly debating
whether the golden age
of high school basketball had passed.
Whether or not V can reach the same level
of cultural impact as its predecessor remains to be seen, but with a nice mix
of returning cast members, fresh faces and a new outlook on the genre, no franchise is better positioned to lead fighting
games into the new
generation.
Whether they'll be able to release Horizon 2 (or whatever it will be called) before the end
of the
generation is another matter entirely, with Sony believed to be gearing to launch PlayStation 5 between 2019 and 2020; this means there's a chance it could be a launch title for the new console, or possibly a cross-
generation game like The Legend
of Zelda: Breath
of the Wild.
Education Secretary Arne Duncan had said in 2010 that he was «convinced that this new
generation of state assessments will be an absolute
game - changer in public education» because they would be able to tell millions
of school children, parents and teachers — «for the first time»
whether students are «on - track for colleges and careers.»
With Gazillion Entertainment's «Marvel Heroes» free - to - play MMO finally launching this week, CBR's Steve Sunu gives his first impressions on
whether or not this is the definitive Marvel
game of a
generation.
I think they may have pulled a Nintendo and secured Vanquish 2 exclusive to Xbox platforms, Actually they may have gone back to Sega like they did with the original xbox and secured a bunch
of their
games for xbox exclusivity... thats the only way I see them making a quick and big splash with fans... if they announced new studios under their umbrella thats great but fans are not going to see those rewards until the next
generation as it will take a few years to get those IP's
whether brand new or existing franchises up and running... thats how I see them making shock and awe, IF they even pull that off.
Whether you're talking about PS3 / Xbox exclusives or 3rd party
games, last
generation was an explosion
of new I.P. with countless numbers
of high quality triple A
games.
In the coming months we will see how the Japanese market being introduced to the PS4 will affect the
game, as well as seeing
whether or not either
of Microsoft or Sony's big AAA
game releases will affect the sales
of their systems, as most criticism leveled at the new
generation of consoles tends to be towards both the systems lack
of content not just exclusive content.
On this show, we question
whether the
game will be regarded as Game of the Generat
game will be regarded as
Game of the Generat
Game of the
Generation.
Whether McMillen and his partner Tommy Refenes set out to prove anything or not, Team Meat's ode to old - school platformers ended up one
of the last console
generation's most influential
games.
It's hard to say
whether or not it would have lived up to those expectations, but, like the original, it could have easily been a cult hit for the PS3 and one
of the most interesting
games released this
generation.
Whether or not we need a new console
generation is one
of the most fierce - and important - debates that
gamers and pundits are holding at the moment.
Whether the
game is currently being developed solely for next -
generation platforms, or if a release on Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 is still a possibility as well, has not been stated by the sources
of Official Xbox Magazine or CVG.
However, the old argument seems to have reared its head again and we wonder
whether, as a new
generation of gaming is upon us, that maybe critics and
gamers alike will be more receptive to the idea
of MP only
games.
The big question though, is
whether or not enough significant upgrades have been made since the last DS
generation of Pokemon
games to justify Black / White's existence.
Whether that says more about my expectations or the quality
of the
game will have to wait until we see more next -
generation games in action.

of the most successful Xbox console ever, Backwards Compatibility is easily the most loved new addition to Xbox One.
What we do know is the system will indeed be known as the PS4, its rumored controller is the real deal, it's coming this holiday, and its
games look very pretty — although it's debatable
whether the
games we saw showed the kind
of innovation you'd hope to find on a next -
generation console.
