Although I've found it very cathartic to speak, vent and end occasionally rant about all things Arsenal, we need to act carefully and intelligently right now or we're going to get played by this club even worse than at present... the pro-Wengerites and the suits, who represent a considerable proportion of the season ticket holders, don't want to believe that there is no plan and that Wenger has mailed it in for several years now or that things are going to get much worse before they get better... why would they... many have spent a considerable sum buying some of the highest priced tickets in the World... they want to have a front row seat to see something special and to be seen doing so, which simply provides ample justification for the expense and the time invested... to many of them, Wenger is the sun in their soccer universe... his awkward disposition, misplaced arrogance and his utter lack of balls makes him a rather unusual cult figure, but the cerebral narrative seemed to embolden those who already felt pretty highly of themselves... many might not even of really liked football that much before his arrival and rarely games they weren't attending... as such, they desperately believe that Wenger, and only Wenger, can supply them with their required fix... if he goes, they were wrong and that's a tough pill to swallow... they would have to admit that they were duped... they will definitely resent whoever made them feel this way, but of course it will be too late by then... so when we go overboard with ridiculous comments bordering of anarchy, it scares the shit out of them and they shift their blame towards us rather than at those who really perpetrated this act of treason... we aren't the enemy... we simply woke much earlier and the reason our comments have gotten more vile in recent years is out of utter frustration... in order for any real change to occur at this club we need to bring as many supporters as possible with us or the big money interests will fade and our ultimate objective will be lost... so it's time to focus on the head instead of the heart for now
Playing devils advocate to my own feelings, we wouldn't have him playing for us before our next EPL game so why not go in with a bargain offer and return with a better one instantly WHEN it was rejected... but you don't get the bargain if you don't try.
well i know the guys in england belittle the spurs the whole time (the fans outside of england do nt really feel the hate, because in switzerland for example is the hate on chelsea muuuuuch stronger ^ ^) you got ta be real and accept that spurs are a top 6 team, and drawing against them isn't such the worst result and the «pundits» and a lot of guys here always bash arsenal that they don't have the title mentality to get a point from a win and a win from a draw, so i think in the years before, we would have well lost the game, so i am happy with the point, and the fight of the guys
wenger gave him so much breathing space... off sick for big games... after seen going out partying nights before... ramsey an others came out saying he gets special treatment feel for arsene..
Time for some brutal honesty... this team, as it stands, is in no better position to compete next season than they were 12 months ago, minus the fact that some fans have been easily snowed by the acquisition of Lacazette, the free transfer LB and the release of Sanogo... if you look at the facts carefully you will see a team that still has far more questions than answers... to better show what I mean by this statement I will briefly discuss the current state of affairs on a position - by - position basis... in goal we have 4 potential candidates, but in reality we have only 1 option with any real future and somehow he's the only one we have actively tried to get rid of for years because he and his father were a little too involved on social media and he got caught smoking (funny how people still defend Wiltshire under the same and far worse circumstances)... you would think we would want to keep any goaltender that Juventus had interest in, as they seem to have a pretty good history when it comes to that position... as far as the defenders on our current roster there are only a few individuals whom have the skill and / or youth worthy of our time and / or investment, as such we should get rid of anyone who doesn't meet those simple requirements, which means we should get rid of DeBouchy, Gibbs, Gabriel, Mertz and loan out Chambers to see if last seasons foray with Middlesborough was an anomaly or a prediction of things to come... some fans have lamented wildly about the return of Mertz to the starting lineup due to his FA Cup performance but these sort of pie in the sky meanderings are indicative of what's wrong with this club and it's wishy - washy fan - base... in addition to these moves the club should aggressively pursue the acquisition of dominant and mobile CB to stabilize an all too fragile defensive group that has self - destructed on numerous occasions over the past 5 seasons... moving forward and building on our need to re-establish our once dominant presence throughout the middle of the park we need to target a CDM then do whatever it takes to get that player into the fold without any of the usual nickel and diming we have become famous for (this kind of ruthless haggling has cost us numerous special players and certainly can't help make the player in question feel good about the way their future potential employer feels about them)... in order for us to become dominant again we need to be strong up the middle again from Goalkeeper to CB to DM to ACM to striker, like we did in our most glorious years before and during Wenger's reign... with this in mind, if we want Ozil to be that dominant attacking midfielder we can't keep leaving him exposed to constant ridicule about his lack of defensive prowess and provide him with the proper players in the final third... he was never a good defensive player in Real or with the German National squad and they certainly didn't suffer as a result of his presence on the pitch... as for the rest of the midfield the blame falls squarely in the hands of Wenger and Gazidis, the fact that Ramsey, Ox, Sanchez and even Ozil were allowed to regularly start when none of the aforementioned had more than a year left under contract is criminal for a club of this size and financial might... the fact that we could find money for Walcott and Xhaka, who weren't even guaranteed starters, means that our whole business model needs a complete overhaul... for me it's time to get rid of some serious deadweight, even if it means selling them below what you believe their market value is just to simply right this ship and change the stagnant culture that currently exists... this means saying goodbye to Wiltshire, Elneny, Carzola, Walcott and Ramsey... everyone, minus Elneny, have spent just as much time on the training table as on the field of play, which would be manageable if they weren't so inconsistent from a performance standpoint (excluding Carzola, who is like the recent version of Rosicky — too bad, both will be deeply missed)... in their places we need to bring in some proven performers with no history of injuries... up front, although I do like the possibilities that a player like Lacazette presents, the fact that we had to wait so many years to acquire some true quality at the striker position falls once again squarely at the feet of Wenger... this issue highlights the ultimate scam being perpetrated by this club since the arrival of Kroenke: pretend your a small market club when it comes to making purchases but milk your fans like a big market club when it comes to ticket prices and merchandising... I believe the reason why Wenger hasn't pursued someone of Henry's quality, minus a fairly inexpensive RVP, was that he knew that they would demand players of a similar ilk to be brought on board and that wasn't possible when the business model was that of a «selling» club... does it really make sense that we could only make a cheeky bid for Suarez, or that we couldn't get Higuain over the line when he was being offered up for half the price he eventually went to Juve for, or that we've only paid any interest to strikers who were clearly not going to press their current teams to let them go to Arsenal like Benzema or Cavani... just part of the facade that finally came crashing down when Sanchez finally called their bluff... the fact remains that no one wants to win more than Sanchez, including Wenger, and although I don't agree with everything that he has done off the field, I would much rather have Alexis front and center than a manager who has clearly bought into the Kroenke model in large part due to the fact that his enormous ego suggests that only he could accomplish great things without breaking the bank... unfortunately that isn't possible anymore as the game has changed quite dramatically in the last 15 years, which has left a largely complacent and complicit Wenger on the outside looking in... so don't blame those players who demanded more and were left wanting... don't blame those fans who have tried desperately to raise awareness for several years when cracks began to appear... place the blame at the feet of those who were well aware all along of the potential pitfalls of just such a plan but continued to follow it even when it was no longer a financial necessity, like it ever really was...
1) He is behind Cech and Ospina or Cech and Martinez for the moment, 2) Poland are in the WC and it is essential that their first team keeper gets a full season of competitive games before summer 2018, 3) His value has increased significantly since 2015 and he is a valuable commodity for the Arsenal, 4) He may feel betrayed or undervalued by some of the fan base but he is too smart a person to let that decide his fate....

Before we get going proper, here's a few Honorable Mentions, games that didn't quite manage to make my list for various reasons or that I felt deserving of some brief rambling:
the price might look big but this game easily makes its worth felt with a level of quality that makes me wonder why it didn't get an XBL arcade release in full for a higher price, get it while you can before some smart company buys the rights and releases the game at 800msp as an arcade game.

I am not a millennial, before that gets thrown out there by the only guy on here who's opinion is correct, but if I wanted bad indie titles I would pay for them, giving away a game designed with a small team who need the money doesn't really feel right to me.
Having something tangible to actually play and get a feel for before you put your cash on the line, makes backing a potential new game less of a crapshoot.
- the team has been adding weapons one by one because they want the same amount of attention for each weapon - the team learned that when they added two new weapons at once, one would end up getting overshadowed by the other - there were more new stages than returning stages because bringing back old stages would have little surprise - since they want to satisfy both new and returning players, they changed the order of stage additions - there weren't any major direction changes in balancing from Splatoon 1 - there have been more pattern combinations between weapons and stages, so there was more involved to balance them all - matchmaking is handled by getting 8 players with similar rank points, and then they're split by weapons - the rank point gap between S + players is bigger than ordinary players - only about one in 1,000 active players are in the S +40 to S +50 region in Ranked Battles - there's even less than one in 10 players that reach S +, while 80 % of the overall player base are in A or less - about 90 % of S + ranked players are within a + / -150 hidden ranked power range - rock was the popular genre in Splatoon, so they tried changing it for the sequel - they prioritized making good background music first before forming the band to play that music - the design team would make the CD jacket - like artwork afterwards - due to this, the band members would often change; some getting added while some others removed - Off the Hook is an exception, as they first decided they would be a DJ and rapper along with their visuals first - Off the Hook's song came afterwards - In Splatoon street fashion was the trend, but in Splatoon 2 they tried adding more uniqueness - the aim was to add Flow with ethnic clothing and Jelfonzo with high fashion - all Jellyfish in this world are born by splitting, which means Jelfonzo was born by splitting from Jelonzo - Jellyfish are like a hive mind - when they hold a wedding ceremony, they're just simply holding the ceremony - Jelonzo and Jelfonzo start gaining their own consciences so they can speak - Flow used her working holiday to go on a trip before reaching Inkopolis Square - during the trip, she met the owner of Headspace - the owner liked her, so she got hired to work there - Bisk has a unique way of speaking: anastrophe - the team tried to express him as an adult man - they made him into a giant spider crab because they wanted someone with high posture - he came from a cold country and broke up with his girlfriend to join a band - just like Flow, he became attracted to squids - Crusty Sean finally has his own shop, but he opened it because he's someone who follows the current trends - one of the trends happens to be people opening their own shops - drink tickets aren't stacked, but the probability is higher than a single brand - the music in Inkopolis Square changes depending on the player's location - sounds contribute to creating atmosphere in the location - the song at front of Grizzco Industries had an atmosphere that feels like some smell can radiate from the game screen - as for Salmon Run, they imagined it as a Japanese restaurant outside Japan that is not run by a Japanese person - each time the player moves between the shops, the game uses an arrange shift that shows the personality of each inhabitant - the arrangement in Shella Fresh is related to Bisk's guitar and mystery files that describe his past - with the Squid Sisters moved to Hero Mode, Off the Hook was put in charge in guiding battles and festivals - Bomb Rush Blush has an orchestra «because it would sound like the final boss» - the team wanted to express the feel of the story's real culprit with this music - the probability of each event occurring in Salmon Run is different - there are no specific requirements, meaning they're picked randomly - this means it's possible for fog to appear three times in a row - the Salmon have different appearances based on the environment they're raised in - if the environment is harsher, they would become large salmon - Steelheads and Maws have big bodies, while Scrappers and Steel Eels have high intelligence - Salmons basically wield kitchenware, but everybody else has a virtue in fighting to actually cook the Salmons - Grill is the ultimate form of this - when Salmons are fighting to the death, they can feel the same sense of unity - they would be one with the world if they were eaten by other creatures, and they also fight for the pride of their race - MakoMart is based on a large supermarket in America - the update also took place on Black Friday in America, which was why Squids are buying a lot of things in the trailer - Arowana Mall looks like it has more passages because there are changes in tenants and also renovation work - Walleye Warehouse has no changes at all, because the team wanted to have at least one map that stayed intact - the only thing different in this map is the graffiti, which is based on the winner of Famitsu's Squid Fashion Contest - all members in the band Ink Theory graduated from music university - they are well - educated girls who also do aggressive things - the band members wearing neckties are respecting the Hightide Era from the prequel - the team will continue adding weapons and stages for a year, and Splatfests for two years - the team will also continue to make more updates including balancing
I get it that if you are still subscribing just for the games and see what they've been offering that you might feel shafted by any price increase, but I also feel the service has changed it's main focus, it was the IGC, now it's MP and it's the latter why I subscribe... No matter if any of you feel my comparisons are wrong or not, do realise one thing: a price increase has happened in other countries before and nothing changed, now it's only, I repeat, only happening in the US and Canada so you can kiss the idea of any improvements on the game offerings goodbye, it's not going to happen, it didn't happen in the past when the rest of the world was affected, it's not going to happen now...
IMO they should wait a week or two after it's released to actually get a feel for everything you can do in the game before anyone attempts to review Destiny.
While I haven't played the game, other than to get an Aurora and, after 2 years, the Avenger while it was on sale before it got embiggened (though the general consensus is that it's the best bang for the buck starter ship wise), I can imagine how it's felt for those for whom it's been buggy, stutterry and / or crashy.
Now it's absolutely great for Xbox users who have never played them before, I'd just feel a little aggrieved that Sony gamers got these games 12 - 18 months ago.

It did make it difficult to get a feel for the game when I only stayed alive for about three to five minutes before getting blown to pieces.
The swinging feels worthless becuse web rush feels faster, the hero or menace system doesn't have a meaning to exist becuse if your a menace than your making the game harder then it needs to be so you will always be the hero but to reach hero you have to do side missions that HAVE UNSKIPABLE CUTSCENES that show the same thing over and over and over with the same voice saying the same stuff everytime it gets tediuos doing the same stuff multiple times before reaching level 3 hero oh and I might I add the rank can fall randomly becuse you are not at 2 locations at the same time you can complete one side quest gain some points and then lose the amount for not doing the other quest that is in the other side of Manhattan.

Sup simon, just a quick question, will there be an available demo on release date from the ps store, i did attempt to get into the beta but was unfortunately not chosen: (a bonus would be if the demo is available before the games release date, that way i could see how i feel about the game, then pre-order the game for those lil goodies:)
As someone who's written a blog post about this on the internet as a backer (screaming into the void is an apt description), I'd feel a lot better if a.) Double Fine didn't have a long and storied history of this (Brutal Legend got dropped and then had lawsuits filed over this very type of behavior, and most of Double Fine's games are pretty unfinished), and b.) Double Fine hadn't just completed a Kickstarter for another game a week and a half before announcing this.

Whenever I look at it (which is constantly, due to it's location) the clutter of... *** backpacks, school papers (from our two young children), toys, knick - knack junk, my purse, my work papers, magazines (which i have a magazine hoarding issue — trying to transition to online mags and Pinterest), bags for going out with the kiddos (library bag, pool bag, playground bag), movies, Nintendo DS games, kids artwork, computer printer, desk, family pictures, kid's stuffed animals ***... strangles me and I always feel I need to get this organized before I move onto a new project of creating something I would enjoy and appreciate (hasn't happened yet!).
