get a
striker, also he as said we needed replacement
for Welbeck, he as already done the vardy bid and i expext him to try

Come to think of it, if not having a proven
striker and very rich bench has been hindering the club from clinching major trophies all these years, sincerely, it baffles me why the club is bent on not trying to risk
getting good and enough players, if not
for anything,
for the sake of seeing what would result from taking such step.
I do hope that Arsene Wenger has a fantastic ace up his sleeve when it comes to
getting a new
striker for Arsenal fans to cheer about in the current summer transfer window, but I must admit to living more in hope than expectation and as the days and weeks tick by my concern increases that it will be the same old story
for us.
As
for Giroud I hope what I'm hearing is not true. You
get the feeling that once Lacazette starts scoring he just won't like it.He's also another overrated player who's also hear because of Wenger's kindness.Apart from the fact that he's good with his head I don't see the positives of keeping here and even Welbeck. We need players who can push Lacazette to perform and these are just not the players. They are more of rotation players.Do you think if Welbeck and Giroud were at top form they can challenge Laca at his best?I always laugh at our
strikers though. On one hand, one doesn't fit our style of play but at least he can finish. On the other hand, the one who fits our style of play can't even score a goal.I can't believe we are joking with such a crucial role.I'm sick and tired of seeing average
strikers in the club. It's been painful watching the likes of Bendtner and Chamakh already. Now I have to cope with this.
That's why Walcott is asked to play as a hold up
striker, Ox is supposed to play off the shoulder of defenders, Podolski had to cover
for Gibbs and rarely
get in the box, Arteta had to cover the counter attack and pass sideways, and Gabriel has to be a slow, awkward white guy with great positioning.
Nothing you could ever do to Giroud would ever make him come good just nothing. Its not a formation set up that
gets a player to dribble, score, be world class, be dependable, wow the crowd and the like. Its the players» own ability that makes him do that.Once you don't have it ya ain't gat it brother.Read my lips!!!!! Once ya don't have it ya ain't gat it.As simple as ABC.So I expect this to be another de ja vu case and waste of time if Giroud and Alexis are paired.I'm even shocked it's coming from Henry. He should rather be giving us more reasons why we need a new
striker and why we would fail if we don't
get the new
striker.Forget Giroud's stats
for a moment and judge him by how he plays when you are watching him.You would realize that given the same chances at Arsenal
strikers who are not even world class can do better.I want a new
striker even if not world class and to be honest its not necessarily a world class
striker that wins you a league but just increases the chances of winning it.Peace!!!!

for the stifling role, just to make sure that the pass to the

get me wrong, Ozil is good but we should have invest that money on a much needed position, maybe a
striker (Bitty that the stubborn one didnot
get Higuain
for less than 30M) or a defender...
Ozil was supposed to break Henry's record and create his own record this season... but thanks to Wenger and his son Giroud, alongside his adopted son Walcott, Ozil can kiss that record goodbye... and this is what we deserve when you try to buy a World class
striker for # 40.1 million pounds... live with the regrets... i don't care if we
get Messi, Neymar and Suarez now, Wenger should just leave
but i think we are using giroud as a scapegoat

got a good gk to help with that, but he alone cant do much..

striker (I'm 100 % sure) but he doesn't want to
get it wrong and have another «deadwood in 2 years» in our hands... not a Wenger fan but hw many top class
strikers in approachable teams r available....

for bringing Mahrez in if we had a full contingent of outfield players who can fit the bill thats required, do nt
get me wrong I rate Mahrez but all this talk of coversions to

Reading the thread on this article and I noticed a lot of people naming
strikers we could have
gotten in past transfer windows that have gone to other club and failed, Balotelli, Falcao, Martinez, Boney etc are recurring names in all the comments, and am sat here thinking because they failed in thee clubs does not necessarily mean they would have failed if we had pulled out our fingers and hot them back then, Balotelli aside I strongly believe all of these players could have made a difference playing infront of our midfield and given the kind of attention and care Wenger gives Giroud and Walcott, adapting our play to suit them and giving them chances after chances even when its blatantly obvious they are average players so please lets not keep using that as an excuse
for Wenger's ultra careful attitude in the transfer market, they could have failed with us, or they could have been massive
for us, all speculations.

his goal scoring record speaks
for it self but would be better if we
got him
for cheaper price like closer to # 20 million, could be bargain
for 2 - 3 years of shed - load of goals probably the most flamboyant of all the
strikers we could be approaching this summer, has
got a right nose
for the back of the net and scores from every angle under the sun with both feet, and he would be a great stopgap until akpom comes good in 2 years time.
