Plural words don't
get apostrophes.
And be sure to
get your apostrophes right!
The iPad keyboard was driving me nuts, mainly because you have to switch to the numeric layout to
get an apostrophe or quotation marks.
If you tap and hold the exclamation mark / comma key, you'll
get an apostrophe, and if you tap and hold the question mark / period key, you'll get quotation marks.

And if «they're / their / there» gives you trouble, you can
get at least one of the three right by recalling the something - went - missing - so - you - need - an -
apostrophe rule, noted above.
That nor» easters are spelled with
apostrophes wedged in them and they
get names just like hurricanes.
PS You have an unneeded
apostrophe in the word «
gets», your punctuation is just wonky in the first sentence of your first post in that you have a period followed by a lower case letter, and most egregious, you spelled diligence wrong.

In an interesting aside, I do wish to point out that I can not
get behind any group that doesn't move the
apostrophe to reflect that they represent the plural of «author.»

get distracted by the missing commas and
apostrophes.
Lots of people may
get lower marks if they mix up using the single
apostrophe («-RRB- with using double quotation marks («-RRB-.
The accepted rule is that you don't use an
apostrophe to make a plural, but there are certain cases where it has become the go - to mark to
get you out of a tricky spot, usually with a very small word ending in a vowel.
By the time the final copy
gets submitted to a journal, you'll have a hard time finding an
apostrophe out of place.
