Now... please do not comment and tell me these don't taste like the soft pretzels
you get at the ball game.

Present day Ozil is often blamed for the Arsenal loses and in truth
at most times should be, his moods dictates the way arsenal plays, he dictates the tempo of how arsenal plays and once he begins to lose
balls and things not going his way he tends to shrink away from the
ball, he is not a player who is going to call for the
ball,
get in the
game by doing some defensive work or
get the
ball to
get some fouls and move the team upwards.

I think alto of people need to have a look back

You are spot on on Perez being better than ozil if he's given the chance, but neither of them are
at wilshere's level when fit Wilshere is aggressive, you can't
get the
ball off him unless you foul him which gives us enough set pieces, he's a big
game player, watch our
games against Bayern, barca, Chelsea, man city, man utd e.t.c when he plays, he creates more chances You just need to watch his
games even
at Bournemouth against Chelsea, which brings me back to the point that, no coach will ever play ozil while Wilshere is fit except wenger............ Plus, ozil is a pu ** y or a weakling rather

If Arsene Wenger and his assistants decide against adjusting their tactics to
get the best out of their marquee summer signing by letting him run with the
ball at defences, Lacazette needs to take the initiative by training and watching
game film to learn how to thrive in Arsenal's system and in English football in general.
We just ain't good when the opposition closes us down, our players like space and if you watched the
game Spuds when they lost the
ball they
got it back in seconds working together as a team, that's what you have to do to stop good teams play like we did
at Chelsea first half of the season,
Campbell has been playing for Arsenal for less than half a season and is only 23, yet you expect him to play like Sanchez in his prime smh... He'll
get better and you shouldn't be too harsh, look
at the number of through
balls he makes each
game, it's clear we just need a better CF and Alexis back up.

All predictable comments after arsenal defeat of course it's natural and calls to

at worst

balls to drop the likes of ozil who passes sideways all the time, it's ok to want to sign these players but do they want to come
Arsenal are recovering and slowly
getting back some confidence and fluidity in their
game, played 120 mins on sunday and needed to rotate various players who were obviously not fully recovered and who were certain» red flags» for muscular injuries if theyd started (ie, ox, ramsey, holding) Leicester did not deserve anything
at all, they were ultra defensive, yes worked hard I agree but its easier to defend with 9 behind the
ball for vast periods of the
game.
Player ratings GK - 5 not much to do looked a bit shaky on crosses Bel - 6
got forward but poor crossing Mon - 7 did ok but impact for the goal Gaby - 7 defended well looked solid Kos - 6 did ok Coq - 6 ok defensively but poor distribution Xhaka - 6 did ok
at times but very average player Gibbs - 6 wing back looks to suit his ability but would like more from him Walcott - 5 looked average and positive enough in possession Ozil -4 poor in possession and none existent without the
ball, luxury player Sanchez 5 worst
game I've seen him have and embarrassed the team by going down after the
ball hit him although the Leicester player deserved a ref
Counter attacking, we've improved lately
at stopping that a wee bit, our shape helps so long as the Brits
get back in support of Xhaka (but it is usually an achilles for us along with high
balls into our area) Other than that we should pick our best team, focus on our high tempo
game, and just
get at them... COYG!!!!
When Ramsey is playing well and he
gets back to defend then I think we see more out of Ozil and Xhaka, I thought Ozil played better
at the end of the season than in the middle when the team imploded and that I do remember seeing Ramsey
getting back more than he did in pre season Chelsea
game, along with the extra CB to help win the
ball back, it has meant Ozil can focus more on finding space ready for when his team mates have won the
ball back.
Last year Juan Marichal saw this activity, the plate umpire reaching in a special
ball bag
at his waist to introduce a special
ball to the
game, and not being aware of the procedure, Marichal felt that he was the victim of some odd plot, that perhaps the
ball he would
get from the umpire was going to pop in two and emit smoke as he gripped it for his screwball.
The Arsenal played well we had over 70 % position of the
ball with something like 27 attacks were 8 were on target burnly had a
game plan and that
game plan was about hurting our players ankles and they
got away scot free with it yet xaka
gets red?????? Yes they were diddling about when that happened but compare it to the challenge on ozil and he was on goal yes koscienly came back from an offside position but the high boot on the head was dangerous I thought Arsenal played well and controlled the
game well even when we were put under pressure in our own half when you look
at the penalty awarded to them you will see a dive as coquelin barely touched him how many time did they push kosscielny of the
ball???? hope he is ok as he was looking like he had a thigh problem I like the back four of todays as Gabriel did ok specially when we went down to ten men >> > I salute our Arsenal for wining the
game on the 97 minit with only 10 men on the field What an iced cold penalty scored by Alexis
We played as if we didn't want the
game, looking
at how relaxed Bellerin was before Alonzo came &
got to the
ball before him shows that they needed it more than us & why did the coach play Chelsea without a striker?
Hell, Julio didn't even
get rolling in yards until the last half of the season when Sark started giving more targets to him, which any OC should know that you have to give JJ
at least 10
balls a
game.
I believe what makes cazorla the player he is, is the
ball rarely
gets lost
at his feet, he can dribble in tight spaces or pass the
ball for that clear cut chance, plays with his right or left, great
at dead
ball situation, accurate shooting, his tempo is amazing too he will slow it down or speed it up based on the circumstances, an intelligent player that can read the
game a lack of pace but that means nothing when you are this talented!!
Although I've found it very cathartic to speak, vent and end occasionally rant about all things Arsenal, we need to act carefully and intelligently right now or we're going to
get played by this club even worse than
at present... the pro-Wengerites and the suits, who represent a considerable proportion of the season ticket holders, don't want to believe that there is no plan and that Wenger has mailed it in for several years now or that things are going to
get much worse before they
get better... why would they... many have spent a considerable sum buying some of the highest priced tickets in the World... they want to have a front row seat to see something special and to be seen doing so, which simply provides ample justification for the expense and the time invested... to many of them, Wenger is the sun in their soccer universe... his awkward disposition, misplaced arrogance and his utter lack of
balls makes him a rather unusual cult figure, but the cerebral narrative seemed to embolden those who already felt pretty highly of themselves... many might not even of really liked football that much before his arrival and rarely
games they weren't attending... as such, they desperately believe that Wenger, and only Wenger, can supply them with their required fix... if he goes, they were wrong and that's a tough pill to swallow... they would have to admit that they were duped... they will definitely resent whoever made them feel this way, but of course it will be too late by then... so when we go overboard with ridiculous comments bordering of anarchy, it scares the shit out of them and they shift their blame towards us rather than
at those who really perpetrated this act of treason... we aren't the enemy... we simply woke much earlier and the reason our comments have
gotten more vile in recent years is out of utter frustration... in order for any real change to occur
at this club we need to bring as many supporters as possible with us or the big money interests will fade and our ultimate objective will be lost... so it's time to focus on the head instead of the heart for now
I hope we don't try to play the defensive
game because they are dangerous in and around our box, they were unlucky not to score one or two more goals in the first leg
at Emirates and if they find their confidence with home advantage and their fans
getting behind them it could be curtains for us, i don't think they will allow us the same space as they did last week so lets take the
game to them early and keep the
ball in their half with high possession,
I can maybe understand a team sticking to their principles being only one goal down as a
game draws to close, but when you're 2 - 0 down with the clock ticking, you clearly need a plan B. Plan A (
get into the final third and make as many sideways passes as possible) hadn't worked
at all against West Ham, and with say 10 minutes left, I couldn't believe we didn't just stick Mertesacker upfront with Giroud and hit long
balls and early crosses!
Alexis has shown to go missing
at times during
games because although he is feisty and has strength to either drive forward with the
ball at his feet, or to battle amongst his opponents, in terms of height he can often
get pushed out of the
game playing as a centre forward, much in the way that Walcott did when he had a go up front.
We have to play WHU 2 days after so resting Chambers to me would be ideal as we know WHU will pump
balls into the box and we'll need arial dominance against WHU in our own box, also our fullbacks for that
game will need to make sure they do nt
get overloaded by their fullbacks... Just look
at some of the crosses Jenkinson has been putting in (I know Jenkinson would be on our left, Gibbs side, WHU fullbacks have both been doing well though) I feel Chambers would
get overloaded on there left (our right) but Debuchery has the experience to deal with it.
Holding did ok but Chambers was very cocky how many miss passes in dangerous areas did he miss place why didn't he booted the
ball way down the field and take the pressure off
at the first half the commentator spook of the inexperience of the defense and that liverpool did nt put enough pressure klopp rectified that straight away bang bang bang with runners and no protection while wenger face went all red with nothing to say the only thing that saved us really was the injuries for the
game to take a change MR wenger is far to slow to fix things what is wrong with him he most not be in good health or something personnel worrying him cause after all he is the manager his
got to have a fast thinking brain smell danger and act fast not seat and debate the issue with bold
For too long, we have been complacent, this team is only beginning to learn to fight non stop thanks to Alexis especially, he was mad
at Giroud celebrating that equalizer instead of going for the kill, he was mad
at Ramsey for being always to careless with the
ball, some of us called it petulant behavior, some of us disagreed and called it an unrelenting appetite for the
game, in the end Ramsey is becoming less complacent, we are learning to
get on with the
game until we secure a result, I can't imagine Sanchez would have joined in celebrating that infamous fourth place a few years back.
, Arsenal is not a charity, Arsenal is a football club trying to to win EPL, not a charity trying to help a player who is overated and useless, he
got pay to play a football, not to operate patients and he
got 75m a week to be able to pass the
ball correctly, never mind score or assist, I
get 480 # / week if my confidence is low my boss will give me a kick
at back side to sort my self out or the door, we do not have to risk our chance of winning the
game for a sake of Ox, bench him, the best player plays, we don't gonna miss is scoring ability or his assist, we will be less frustrated if he is on the bench typical English player!
Players scores Chech 8.5 top saves when needed Monreal 7 good steady
game as always Mert 6 did ok The boss 6 looked tired Bel 7.5 good
game needs work on crossing Walcot 5 did less than iwobi Cmpbell 7.5 worked hard, in front of ox and walcott anyway Flamini 7 steady Ox 4 poor all
game not a clue how he
gets a
game Ramsey 5 very selfish player, if barca pay 50m take it and sigh Barkley for 35 Giroud 6.5 missed very good chance and doesn't hold the
ball up
at important times but had an ok performance Iwobi 7 did more than walcott in 15 mins Chambers not on long enough
Perhaps Rafa feels that the Pompey man could work well alongside Fernando Torres, something that was tried sparingly in 07/08 but I feel that England man has greatly improved his
game at Fratton Park and has shown that he is more than just a lanky beanpole but is more than able to
get the
ball on the ground and play.
Costa is
getting the
ball at his feet all
game because Chelsea is filled with superstars — this gives him 20 times the opportunities.
I'm sure I» am wasting my time trying to
get you folk to actually «watch «his
game.Basically a defender who doesn't know how to defend, unable to read the
game, hopeless
at set pieces and only wins the
ball in the air when it is directed straight
at him.
With the score tied
at 101 apiece on ostensibly the
game's final possession with the shot clock turned off, the Orlando Magic only had one job: safely
get the
ball inbounds.
He IS
getting on
at 38, but, as long as he is fit, not TOO slow, and, can use the
ball out of defence, then, as a last resort in case of slight injuries, to come in for the odd
game, Cups, then why not.
Wenger is forced to make a change as Monreal has a knock and Mustafi finally comes back but the
game continues
at full pace and after 6 minutes Maitland - Niles gives the
ball away in the Liverpool corner and Salah
gets it back uickly and finally
gets a goal with a deflection off Mustafi.
Am not encouraging silly bookings though, Flamini been the ring leader of
getting cards should be advised not to have a hot head each time, I was really frustrated in the last
game were he
got booked trying to retrieve the
ball which he lost in the D area while we were like 2 or 3 nill up, not necessary
at all as he had team mates around him too to help him.
Podolski doesn't track back etc, he is a striker first and last, let him do that, instruct the players to change tactics (I can feel Wenger cringe
at the thought) to
get as many
balls into the box as possible if Podolski is on and allow Welbeck to run and play his best
game and stop with the chuckle brothers football.
some of our dead wood become dead wood because we had to concentrate on feeding Sanchez with all the
ball all the time if we didn't he would throw a temper tantrum, if you watched the United
game last night he dose not have that superiority
at United yet and he looked like a fish out of water, he was tracking back to win the
ball so he can
get a touch
(1) this squad has way too many moving parts and very few of our players are good enough
at their preferred position let alone relying on them in whatever position Wenger and his magic eight
ball decide in the tunnel prior to the
game... when teams do this it generally signals issues within the club, much like Jose last year and Van Gael before him... no one
gets settled, the chemistry is almost non-existent and if provides a built - in excuse when the team comes up short... these issues fall squarely on Wenger, both for his decisions regarding players coming in and for his inability to rid the team of those players who aren't cutting it... in actually fact we have only 6 real starters on this current squad and that's being generous (Sanchez, Ozil, Lacazette, Sead, Kos & Cazorla)... which is discouraging because Cazorla is injured and might never play again, Sanchez is wanting out and the club is lying to us about his injury status, Lacazette receives no service, Ozil is relatively disinterested out there, Kos is
getting up there and Sead is just trying to settle in... there isn't a single other player that would start regularly on any of the other top 3 teams, which should be the standard... imagine this team moving forward if Wenger only sells before the window closes
In big
games our problem is Arteta being closed down and put under pressure — our midfield panics and loses the
ball, so we
get countered and they're straight
at our back four.
He was sloppy in possession, but again, Ozil is brilliant when we have runs and pace and some space, his
game is not based on working with the
ball too long, but nevertheless he was there
at the end to
get the
ball past the line, despite Neuer almost pulling off another sensational save.
