you get buckwheat groats from?
Can I please ask you where do
you get your buckwheat groat and honey manuka from?
I think the preground flour is probably a bit stronger in flavor than if you grind it yourself, so I will be
getting some buckwheat groats and grinding them next time, just for a slightly milder flavor.

You may like
getting unground
buckwheat groats, sometimes called kasha and grinding them yourself (like in a coffee grinder or in a food processor or blender).
Between
buckwheat groats, almond flour, coconut flour, an assortment of dark chocolate bars, rice cakes galore, and more nut butter that even I can
get through, I have quite a bit to work with.
I don't like to blend just a milk very much, as it
gets quite foamy and I prefer milk in more «solid» form, or if I make oats or
buckwheat groats using that milk and I do nt want to blend in the end.
You can
get carried away with different toppings too — nuts, coconut shreds, cacao nibs,
buckwheat groats to name a few.
Rinse and drain the
buckwheat groats in a fine mesh colander to remove the gooey residue they
get from soaking, then add them to the small pot with the oats.
However, oat
groats don't absorb water as well as
buckwheat groats, so you wouldn't
get a homogeneous batter to work with.
I tried the recipe with
buckwheat groats and it was great — see my blog about
buckwheat pasta which talks about the health benefits of
buckwheat — but it
got me thinking, what else could I use to make granola?
I just need to go out and
get the
buckwheat flour,
groats and carob chips (I have everything else).
