Served family style, the
food was unpretentious, light and so healthy, I made a mental bookmark to try my hand at it when I
got home.
So, I
got a note from his doctor saying that his
food needed to be
home made and he opted out of their meals.
I like that I can make «nuggets» at
home that, I think, look pretty close to what you would buy from either a fast -
food restaurant or
get from a Tyson bag... but are, obviously, way better for my family!

When I
got home to a messy house, they set up
food to be delivered, and finally, completely unrelated to each other, another group of bloggers sent house keeping to help me catch up over the holidays.
I swear I have been making nothing but healthy
food since we
got home, including a low - carb pizza that I am pretty sold on.
And I
got to taste some of the
food and things they were doing there and then I came back
home and I thought, «I'm going to make Rejuvelac» and I couldn't do it.
About the only way to escape it is to
get out of the valley by going up to the mountains and go skiing, which our family doesn't do, or go on a trip, which is hard to do with snowy roads and children in school, so mostly I stay
home and make comfort
foods to drown my inversion woes.
It
got me thinking about why
food is so important to me and why I'm such a passionate advocate of
home cooking.

home cooks, whose corner she is resolutely in: Unapologetically simple, wholesome, sizzling fresh and natural, eminently doable, wherever you happen to be, however harried you might be.

I find it faster to make pizza at
home than
get delivery — my spouse timed me once, when we were hungry and he was debating ordering, and my homemade pizza was in the oven, minutes away from being done, at the time the delivery place would have dropped off our
