I tell you from a footballing point of view scoring 8 goals you
got have players that know where the goal posts are it takes energy and creativity to score 8 yes I agree vikings changed their players
because their league is starting i think tomorrow so yes they were not a big team team but to say that Arsenal were not strong thats a bit to much and I say it again you need energy and creativity to score 8 I was very happy they did that Arsenal are well known for creating chances yesterday they converted them chances into Goals this should be the norm and I hope this will give them a lesson
on how to win a game as they did nt dwell about with the
ball it was goal after goal and that tells me that they went for the goals directly and I hope and wish the young guns all the best and to do well in the next season

get on with the new role

It will take Mkhi a bit longer to settle then Sanchez
because we play a fast passing game in midfield and Mk has to
get to know our moves where Sanchez is an individual player give him the
ball and let him
get on with it
This is an incredibly difficult question to answer for a variety of reasons, most importantly
because over the years our once vaunted «beautiful» style of play has become a shadow of it's former self, only to be replaced by a less than stellar «plug and play» mentality where players play out of position and adjustments / substitutions are rarely forthcoming before the 75th minute... if you look at our current players, very few would make sense in the traditional Wengerian system... at present, we don't have the personnel to move the
ball quickly from deep - lying position, efficient one touch midfielders that can make the necessary through
balls or the disciplined and pacey forwards to stretch defences into wide positions, without the aid of the backs coming up into the final 3rd, so that we can attack the defensive lanes in the same clinical fashion we did years ago...
on this current squad, we have only 1 central defender
on staf, Mustafi, who seems to have any prowess in the offensive zone or who can even pass two zones through so that we can advance play quickly out of our own end (I have seen some inklings that suggest Holding might have some offensive qualities but too early to tell)... unfortunately Mustafi has a tendency to
get himself in trouble when he
gets overly aggressive
on the
ball... from our backs out wide, we've seen pace from the likes of Bellerin and Gibbs and the spirited albeit offensively stunted play of Monreal, but none of these players possess the skill - set required in the offensive zone for the new Wenger scheme which requires deft touches, timely runs to the baseline and consistent crossing, especially when Giroud was playing and his ratio of scored goals per clear chances was relatively low (better last year though)... obviously I like Bellerin's future prospects, as you can't teach pace, but I do worry that he regressed last season, which was obvious to Wenger
because there was no way he would have used Ox as the right side wing - back so often knowing that Barcelona could come calling in the off - season, if he thought otherwise... as for our midfielders, not a single one, minus the more confident Xhaka I watched played for the Swiss national team a couple years ago, who truly makes sense under the traditional Wenger model... Ramsey holds onto the
ball too long, gives the
ball away cheaply far too often and abandons his defensive responsibilities
on a regular basis (doesn't score enough recently to justify): that being said, I've always thought he does possess a little something special, unfortunately he thinks so too... Xhaka is a little too slow to ever boss the midfield and he tends to telegraph his one true strength, his long
ball play: although I must admit he did
get a bit better during some points in the latter part of last season... it always made me wonder why whenever he played with Coq Wenger always seemed to play Francis in a more advanced role
on the pitch... as for Coq, he is way too reckless at the wrong times and has exhibited little offensive prowess yet finds himself in and around the box far too often... let's face it Wenger was ready to throw him in the trash heap when injuries forced him to use Francis and then he had the nerve to act like this was all part of a bigger Wenger constructed plan... he like Ramsey, Xhaka and Elneny don't offer the skills necessary to satisfy the quick transitory nature of our old offensive scheme or the stout defensive mindset needed to protect the defensive zone so that our offensive players can remain aggressive in the final third...
on the front end, we have Ozil, a player of immense skill but stunted by his physical demeanor that tends to offend, the fact that he's been played out of position far too many times since arriving and that the players in front of him, minus Sanchez, make little to no sense considering what he has to offer (especially Giroud); just think about the quick counter-attack offence in Real or the space and protection he receives in the German National team's midfield, where teams couldn't afford to focus too heavily
on one individual... this player was a passing «specialist» long before he arrived in North London, so only an arrogant or ignorant individual would try to reinvent the wheel and / or not surround such a talent with the necessary components... in regards to Ox, Walcott and Welbeck, although they all possess serious talents I see them in large part as headless chickens who are
on the injury table too much, lack the necessary first - touch and / or lack the finishing flair to warrant their inclusion in a regular starting eleven; I would say that, of the 3, Ox showed the most upside once we went to a back 3, but even he became a bit too consumed by his pending contract talks before the season ended and that concerned me a bit... if I had to choose one of those 3 players to stay
on it would be Ox due to his potential as a plausible alternative to Bellerin in that wing - back position should we continue to use that formation... in Sanchez, we
get one of the most committed skill players we've seen
on this squad for some years but that could all change soon, if it hasn't already of course... strangely enough, even he doesn't make sense given the constructs of the original Wenger offensive model
because he holds onto the
ball too long and he will give the
ball up a little too often in the offensive zone... a fact that is largely forgotten due to his infectious energy and the fact that the numbers he has achieved seem to justify the means... finally, and in many ways most crucially, Giroud, there is nothing about this team or the offensive system that Wenger has traditionally employed that would even suggest such a player would make sense as a starter... too slow, too inefficient and way too easily dispossessed... once again, I think he has some special skills and, at times, has showed some world - class qualities but he's lack of mobility is an albatross around the necks of our offence... so when you ask who would be our best starting 11, I don't have a clue
because of the 5 or 6 players that truly deserve a place in this side, 1 just arrived, 3 aren't under contract beyond 2018 and the other was just sold to Juve... man, this is theraputic
because following this team is like an addiction to heroin without the benefits

because if we knock those guys down, they
get fewer uncontested shots
on the man with the

If we try to completely boss the
ball and build as slowly as we have been (which is what we'll most likely do
because Arsene is stubborn and will refuse to change from the way we played that
got a Tennis Score hung
on us last time) we'll go out in the 433 with Ramsey and Jack ahead of Arteta, Alexis
on one side, a no. 10
on the other, and Welbeck up top.
If we do
get someone who tackles early in the build up
because if you tackle late in this league you are shown a card, someone who can stick their head
on any type of cross, and someone who can take the space in front of them and charge with the
ball, while also having the pace to change directions if there is a counter.
my preferred choice would be lacazette
because of his age and and
on top of his goals & he has a good few assists, i watched lukaku yesterday and the guy is no team player i understand that to be a good striker you have to be a bit selfish & self confident to a certain degree but he took it to far you could see de bruyne wasn, t happy with lukaku and when he had the chance to give lukaku the
ball he didn, t and lastly he will be cheaper and might have a good chance to
get him cos he wants to move to the pl but to a bigger team than west ham, spuds..!!
If that were Wilshere, he would have carried the
ball and started dribbling

because he will surely
get stopped by
getting fouled.

got a sniff
because they couldn't

The reason why We struggle against teams that presses is
because mertesacker cant do a Pique, koscieny sometimes do
got caught out
because of the risk in doing that, he is good at bringing the
ball out from defense and lauching attacks from his position, having Gabriel beside him will neutralise the threat coming from teams that presses
because Gabriel too is comfortable
on the
ball unlike the immobile Rhino per.
Our wingbacks
getting upfield and crossing seemed pointless (crossing actually
getting better), high
balls up field seemed pointless and sanchez positioning
on the counters was also pointless; Sanchez
got the benefit of more space
because besiktas was pushing forward for an equaliser in the second half, however we will not have the same opportunities n other games, i strongly feel he would have a joy ride
on the leftside of our attack, with sanago or a new signing like a welbeck as the focal point.
Yes we have improved we have become more aware we have started to show some maturity when facing the top dogs and that's the difference between us this season and us
getting SMASHED by all of the top teams last season and if you watch football you can see that the city side are not a patch
on their former selves nor Liverpool nor even chelski, we are NOT another 49 unbeaten squad not yet and not for a while until the improvements are made, Yea credit where its due of course but lets NOT RUN AWAY WITH THE IDEA WE ARE WORLD BEATERS JUST YET EH, AKB's are the reason we'll never improve as a fan base
because they can see NO wrong in anything the board or AW does, Im no AOB but I do see the need for self criticism and improvement and at BIGGUN its not a ridiculous statement at all we have improved but they have also been off the
ball and that why we're having a good run.
No, not
because he scored last night but
because he is fast, strong in the tackle, cynical, brave, has guts, does not
get bullied
on or off the
ball,
gets into good goal scoring positions from set plays and corner kicks, good
on the
ball and can also play out from the defence.....
And many say he is fouled himself often
because of his skill
on the
ball but really it is he shows too much of the
ball and defenders feel they can win it and then both players go for the
ball come together and Jack bing the smaller
gets the worse of it.
Nothing like one underachiever blowing smoke up the ass of another... we know that Ozil has some incredible technical gifts, but to be considered the best you have to bring more than just assists to the table... for me, a top player has to possess a more well - rounded game, which doesn't mean they need to be a beast
on both ends of the pitch, but they must have the ability to take their game to another level when it matters most... although he amassed some record - like stats early
on, it set the bar too high, so when people expected him to duplicate those numbers each year the pressure seemed to
get the best of our soft - spoken star... obviously that's not an excuse for what has happened in the meantime, but it's important to make note of a few things: (1) his best year was a transition year for many of the traditionally dominant teams in the EPL, so that clearly made the numbers appear better than they actually were and (2) Wenger's system, or lack thereof, didn't do him any favours; by playing him out of position and by not acquiring world - class striker and / or right - side forward that would best fit an Ozil - centered offensive scheme certainly hurt his chances to repeat his earlier peformances, (3) the loss of Cazorla, who took a lot of pressure off Ozil in the midfield and was highly efficient when it came to
getting him the
ball in space, negatively impacted his effectiveness and (4) he likewise missed a good chunk of games and frankly never looked himself when he eventually returned to the field... overall the Ozil experiment has had mixed reviews and rightfully so, but I do have some empathy for the man
because he has always carried himself the same way, whether for Real or the German National team, yet he has only suffered any lengthy down periods with Arsenal... to me that goes directly to this club's inability to surround him with the necessary players to succeed, especially for someone who is a pass first type of player; as such, this simply highlights our club's ineffective and antiquated transfer policies... frankly I'm disappointed in both Ozil and our management team for not stepping up when it counted
because they had a chance to do something special, but they didn't have it in them... there is no one that better exemplifies our recent history than Ozil, brief moments of greatness undercut by long periods of disappointing play, only made worse by his mopey posturing like a younger slightly less awkward Wenger... what a terribly waste
Have a just very good guy could help
because their isn't enough overlap to really hurt but he might could help with the rare occasion a good / very good defender
gets a bad jump / is miss positioned due to a shift / any other reason he can't
get to a
ball it
on the edge of his zone.
some of our dead wood become dead wood
because we had to concentrate
on feeding Sanchez with all the
ball all the time if we didn't he would throw a temper tantrum, if you watched the United game last night he dose not have that superiority at United yet and he looked like a fish out of water, he was tracking back to win the
ball so he can
get a touch
Any time he's
on the
ball it's
because he has to track back to
get it.
(1) this squad has way too many moving parts and very few of our players are good enough at their preferred position let alone relying
on them in whatever position Wenger and his magic eight
ball decide in the tunnel prior to the game... when teams do this it generally signals issues within the club, much like Jose last year and Van Gael before him... no one
gets settled, the chemistry is almost non-existent and if provides a built - in excuse when the team comes up short... these issues fall squarely
on Wenger, both for his decisions regarding players coming in and for his inability to rid the team of those players who aren't cutting it... in actually fact we have only 6 real starters
on this current squad and that's being generous (Sanchez, Ozil, Lacazette, Sead, Kos & Cazorla)... which is discouraging
because Cazorla is injured and might never play again, Sanchez is wanting out and the club is lying to us about his injury status, Lacazette receives no service, Ozil is relatively disinterested out there, Kos is
getting up there and Sead is just trying to settle in... there isn't a single other player that would start regularly
on any of the other top 3 teams, which should be the standard... imagine this team moving forward if Wenger only sells before the window closes
A player
on life support??? Why can't ozil be good
on his own, we always say ozil is not good
because Giroud is slow, today Giroud is not in and yet we say ozil is not good
because they couldn't
get the
ball to him..
which is certainly not a slight
on the young french national player; like him or not, Sanchez has provided some real world - class performances for club and country in recent years... if you do this move, you need to really clean house or face some serious consequences for the foreseeable future... half measures are rarely rewarded, that's how we
got here... tear down the wall... we need to
get rid of Giroud, not
because he isn't a talented player, his skill - set simply doesn't make sense if we hope to maximize the offensive potential of a quick passing, one - touch scheme... we need to evolve, like Barcelona, who realized you needed to have clinical finishers or face a mind - numbing future of horizontal passes and largely ineffective crosses... Barca went and
got Suarez, even though they had Messi and Neymar
on the roster (just imagine the possibilities — another in the litany of Wenger «what ifs»)... we need to be as clinical in the boardroom as
on the pitch... accept nothing less or move
on... personally I would move
on from Welbeck, Giroud and Walcott, even Ox if he isn't all in... I think the most intriguing player might be Perez, which runs counter to the thoughts in my head when he arrived late last summer... we need a deep lying DM with quick feet and long
ball potential, midfielders who can counter quickly even when they are spread out and 4 or 5 players who know how to attack the lanes (kind of a cross between Barca, Dortmund and Monaco)... this is seriously an achievable goal, one that logically should have been achieved quite a few years ago... did no one in the Arsenal organization see the financial restructuring of the football universe... think of the players we could have had but we weren't willing to cough up the dough only for those individuals to have their value double or triple within a 12 to 24 month period... even if just from an investment perspective these «no deals» represent a failure of monumental proportions... only if you cared, of course
