I spent the majority of my time with this mode and can say that once I got into a groove, I found the grind to be more relaxing then playing game after game after game.

Very well expressed yes I do agree the series is getting to be a bit boring and old in reality all games are I gaming after a ling day at work but there's no real good games out that catch my eye I have been a gears of war fan since the beginning of time but even that game I don't feel it's worthy of the tine I invested in part 1 just my opinion people I would really want to see a game that would change gaming like halo did, gow1, cod4 these titles made way for new exciting gameplay but now I find myself enjoying Mario more then any other game I don't know maybe it's time for a change I always wanted to try world of Warcraft maybe I will atleast that would be a new experience

But then once you're actually inside the game you get no more load times at all, so that's something I guess.

And then suddenly in the second half the game's narrative kicks things into top - gear and plot points and twists start to get thrown at you in fast succession, though mostly they just add more layers to the existing tale and don't answer any questions you might have, which is almost as frustrating at times as the sluggish pace of the first half.

But games HAVE got more expensive, when i started gaming it cost 30 pounds for a new release, now they are looking between 50 - 60 pounds, almost double in 20 odd years, and half the time you now get less in said game, then you have season passes etc on top of that, games cost enough full stop.

If you were one of the people that shelled out the big bucks to get Silvergun stateside more than a decade ago, then an XBLA release might sting a bit... but I guess you've been playing the game all this time while the rest of us have had to watch from afar.

What makes me like the options between short and long play is that; if I don't have a lot of time but want to get a quick game in, I have the option and if I want to enjoy the game even more then I can.

If you expect to reach the end on anything more than the game's easy difficulty, you'll need to be willing to part with plenty of blood, sweat and tears, and if you haven't got the dexterity or lightning reactions required to master this true bullet - hell shooter, then you'll probably need a new controller by the time you're finished too.

That said it is still a lot of fun to play and like I say it is a step up from the previous game in a way but if you want a more solo game I would still say the previous game was better for that, If mp is your thing then you are going to get a lot of game time out of this.

If a game sucks off the bat, then I MAY give it a bit more time just to see if it gets better but otherwise, I doubt I'd play it again.

This certainly helps you to get more playing time out of the game, but it's also admittedly quite fun to unlock a character with a new skill and then go back to the story levels and see what new things become available to you.

well, as an owner of only a psp vita i have to say i am happy with the free games i got on last month, also the discounts where great, apart from that i was exited when i saw megaman for free on this week then i got it by the «only for PS3» part, please do nt forget you have owners of vita that do nt have a PS3 (i use to travel a lot so i cant have it with me all the times), i am not asking for full psp vita games for free, but you can put some ps one classics there, like on this week it could have been awesome to see some ps classic games of megaman to «make it more equal on both consoles».

Xbox 360 had more exclusives than PS3 for its first 2 years on the market, then all the timed exclusive stuff came to PS3 anyway while PS3 got some astounding games, especially from 2009 to 2013.

Yea, don't get me wrong I like indie games, I was plenty surprised with rocket league 2 months ago, but more times then not the games that are free are nothing good in my opinion, the voting system seems like a great idea but really??

Silent Hill was my first introduction to the horror genre, When I started playing it, I saw the intro and what I saw was nothing indicative of a horror game, or neither an action game, it looked more like a sad psychological drama game, It got me wondering what did I get myself into, then I started playing it and when I got to the alleyway part and got killed by the children zombies, I immediately turned off my Play Station, I was horrified, but somehow the game kept calling me to play, I decided to keep playing, it got to a point where I couldn't play at night, I had to turn any background music down simply because it was just too much for my 12 - year - old head, but at the same time I was having fun on a level I never imagined I could before.

Well my new coming friends, Harvest Moon has a bed that actually works and if you go to bed you skip to the next day, which is why these games are so incredible addictive and can have the player loose track of time simply because you just need to do that one last thing before you quit, then when that thing is done you already have two more things you need to get done before you save and before you know it four hours have passed and your date is gone, you have been fired from your job and your family's dinner is gotten cold, all this is in real life though, not in the game.

At least when the NX comes out and there's no more region lock then we will all get all of the same games at the same time.

Since then I got a job, and realised there were more games than I could theoretically play in a lifetime — both things that have made me more discerning with how I spend my time.

Another example, and one of the more frustrating one is later on in the game you are set with defending a base, don't worry I don't put spoilers in my reviews, from hordes of enemies trying to destroy certain objects that you need to defend, and it is one of the worst missions in the game simply because the game mechanics kept fighting against me with everything it got, but after quite some time, and numerous retries I finally managed to complete the first 4 or 5 parts of the mission, and the game had me then racing up a mountain chasing a plane which I then had to try and get onto, which again, is fine, but when the game freezes up on me and blue screens and puts me back to the dashboard, only to have me reboot the game and starting that mission all over again, that was almost the last straw for me.

I was so hurt by this until I've read what were they «free» games, and then I laughed at my naiveness: what they were good at we were bad, and vice versa... But the more time passed the less we could get from Plus.

It's mildly frustrating occasionally — I can't count the number of times I got into a random encounter with trash mobs, auto - battled, missed at least once, and then had both enemies curb - stomp one of my demons — but it's made the game a lot more tense.

Even for its time it was extremely tedious, but when you combine the many difficult battles with having to constantly search places for items as well as the complex world design (no really, when someone tells you that a place is just west of your current location, that means walk east, north, east, north, and then walk west across the entire game world, this happens more than once) and vague translations of what your abilities can do, it gets a bit too dated for its own good.
