- Playtonic says «unforeseen technical issues» are the reason - looking into Switch version - backers of the Wii U version can move their reservation to another system, get a refund or wait for a Switch announcement - details on potential Switch release coming in early 2017 - Playtonic said they explored «every possible avenue» to bring the game to Wii U - the devs worked «tirelessly over many months in attempt to solve» the problem

I think the issue is anytime it's Nintendo people get defensive and think you're downplaying or worse saying the Nintendo product in question is shit when you haven't said that Read, react, disagee, move on

On the issue of loading, the game does take a bit of time when first booting up, getting to the Main Menu, and loading a save file, but Vigil did a great job of keeping the game moving along once in.

«Sleeper hit Prey got a rough start, and by the time they fixed the issues with controller lag everyone had moved on and it was left rotting in the Bargain Bins of everyone's attention.

I should note that I got lucky with this game, as I first played through all four of the Halo campaigns before moving on to the multiplayer, at which time the initial matchmaking issues had been resolved, so I can't exactly sympathize with those that experienced the woes of the launch.

My only issue with it is that we never got deep enough into Source (didn't really have the time or skills) to move it on from straight - out start / stop triggers to something more dynamic, more procedural.

This isn't to say that they can't get down and dirty on the track though and they do, but I'll move on from this as I've a few issues with the damage dished out to the cars.

Writer Shamus Young details how games face these issues and more: how companies that make graphics cards don't often document the changes to drivers they make for popular games, how the licensing for music gets very complicated as time moves on, how both consoles and operating systems are locked down to prevent backwards compatibility.

Anyway, after finally getting through that battle and moving on the issue becomes that now my characters are even more ridiculously overpowered when facing random encounters which makes them kind of pointless.
