I prefer Sony's approach by far and as disappointing as it may be that we aren't getting Spiderman or God of War before Christmas, we are still getting a shit tone of other games to play, be they multiplat or exclusives.

Ok, here's my take on it... I have both systems and can only get it for one... and the PS4 has the edge on graphics (which I have to «try» and tell which one is which by screen shots side by side) I still go with the X1 on multiplats, for me the «snap feature» BY FAR makes up for the lost graphics (that in real gameplay hardly exists to me) plus my controller of choice, plus in my experience, the network is more stable... those things push me to the X1... I have Minecraft on both and everything just flows so much better on the X1, the OS, friends, messages, party, just like it better... I mean, my PS4 dosent really feel much different than my PS3 did... but my X1 sure feels different than my 360 did... PS4 is a beast and ill play all exclusives but the everyday «workhorse» console for me is the Xbox one...

Third parties didn't make money off of the Wii U install base with their mutliplats, because those multiplats did not feature anything that made them worth getting on Wii U over any other console.

If the Wii U had been more powerful and the multiplats had featured all the same content, they'd have gotten more sales, but they STILL wouldn't have hit the high notes that third parties wanted to hit.

Ill probably get disagrees for this but why do people fight over multiplats?

Even if Nintendo can get the big multiplat names on Switch, they will sell significantly better on PS4.

I warned people not to go berserk over the differences in those games otherwise their would be a huge fight the minute a PS4 gets a superior multiplat.

All in all, the above announcements mean that my PS4 will finally be getting more use, and I didn't even mention the multiplat announcements that did not involve some leg up for Playstation fans.

Goes to show that people like me get to play the full experience of a multiplat on the 360, and not a half baked underperforming version on the PS3.

I've also owned every PS system up until this gen. Jeez, both the PS3 and the PS4 had nothing except for multiplats, remakes and indies for almost 2 years after launch but Sony gets away with everything.

@Pongwater see the problem here is the definition of multiplat so let me revist that... by definition when we said multiplat from history we mean its either on multiple consoles like sony Ms or nintendo or PC but when a game is only on wondows 10 or xb1 family hardware is techically on a pc but not define as such but as a windows game cause it wont be available to steam or any other pc sectors or even any other version od windows that makes it still by definition an Ms exclusive cause u can only get it from microsoft UWP and never on any other thing else So is it a console exclusive?

This is not the only way in which the wii - u falls short (1.24 GHz CPU lol) and if nintendo want to get any of the next generations multiplats after a year or so of the nextboxes and ps4s release, they are going to have to release a new console.

And as a reminder that the Wii U will be getting a look in with the multiplats, we were treated to a sizzle reel of third party games include Batman: Arkham Origins, Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag, and Watch Dogs.

Don't get me wrong, I love Gears and cant wait for Gears 3, but I really need games on my 360 that isn't multiplat.
