The guy had a great game v west ham but his ego lets him down, but Wenger his comments
on the defensive cock ups, it is the same comments
on all the losses so surely he needs to rectify the prob Number one drop the BF German that can't head a

balls through to runners not high

I've seen a penalty given against us, I think it was Bellerin who tackled from behind, and
got the
ball first, before
getting the man, and he put
enough power in the clearance, that even if the man had managed to stay
on his feet, he wouldn't have
got the
ball, however the MOTD of the day crew said it was a penalty, because even though he
got the
ball, you weren't allowed to tackle from behind?!?!? So why the double standards???
obviously I would prefer to have a much more suitable alternative in the defensive midfielder positions but if they focused more
on defensive end and the occasional long -
ball, this would allow Bellerin and Sead ample opportunities to bomb forward
on their respective wings while still having
enough cover to maintain their defensive shape... it would likewise allow for overlapping runs
on both wings, thereby letting both Sanchez and Perez to cut inside and
get shots away in and around the top of the box with their most dominant feet... if goals were needed I would sub Bellerin for OX and bring Ramsey in for Elneny then switch to a 3 -2-4-1 (more of a 3 -1-5-1 with Ramsey playing higher up the pitch) and I would only use Giroud as a sub when the game dictated it for tactical reasons... this would allow us to be a high energy team with incredible link - up play and a much more direct approach in the offensive end
I'll go a step further if Van Djik hasn't signed for Liverpool I would try to make a move and here is why: 1) Prem experience 2) Southampton plays a similar style of football than Arsenal 3) He can play in both a 3 and 4 man defense with his ability

enough to play a big role into this team... not really and could be used in any deal for Van Djik 7) Koscielny is our best defenders but is dealing with a chronic injury not only that he hasn't made the best decisions at times Everything mentioned above will free wages but also increase Wenger money to spend!
as for me ozil is a talented and skilful player but having only that is not
enough to win the ever
getting stronger premier leage teams, he has to train hard for endurance and be a fighter, he has to come back and press
on the opponent defense and even midfieldes to disposes the
ball when arsenal loose the
ball and go back fast attacking like iwobi and welbeck are doing.
A few key contributors really struggled

enough to
get them past a very determined Team Harlander.
You are spot
on on Perez being better than ozil if he's given the chance, but neither of them are at wilshere's level when fit Wilshere is aggressive, you can't

regarding Lacazette his going to make a huge difference in our goal tally, we always needed a player with his ability in and around the box, Laca is a better version of Lukas Podolski, for years now we are always passing the

giroud, lecoq, are gud backups to hve in the squad but not a first team player for a team wanting to challenge for epl.coq has
got to improve slightly
on the
ball but off the
ball he is gud.everyone knows about giroud and I don't think a gud striker is
enough for us.we need a very clinical guy not a guy who will be going through dry patches coz thats guaranteed from a gud striker.gibbs is tricky he is a gud option to hve
on the bench but if we scout someone younger and better than him then I think we can sell him for both the clubs sake and himself coz he hasn't progressed as a player.what I find shocking is bellerin back up is jenkinson worth a team challenging for epl?I don't think so and we should find an able guy there than fool ourselves and next season we pay for mistakes again.

This is an incredibly difficult question to answer for a variety of reasons, most importantly because over the years our once vaunted «beautiful» style of play has become a shadow of it's former self, only to be replaced by a less than stellar «plug and play» mentality where players play out of position and adjustments / substitutions are rarely forthcoming before the 75th minute... if you look at our current players, very few would make sense in the traditional Wengerian system... at present, we don't have the personnel to move the
ball quickly from deep - lying position, efficient one touch midfielders that can make the necessary through
balls or the disciplined and pacey forwards to stretch defences into wide positions, without the aid of the backs coming up into the final 3rd, so that we can attack the defensive lanes in the same clinical fashion we did years ago...
on this current squad, we have only 1 central defender
on staf, Mustafi, who seems to have any prowess in the offensive zone or who can even pass two zones through so that we can advance play quickly out of our own end (I have seen some inklings that suggest Holding might have some offensive qualities but too early to tell)... unfortunately Mustafi has a tendency to
get himself in trouble when he
gets overly aggressive
on the
ball... from our backs out wide, we've seen pace from the likes of Bellerin and Gibbs and the spirited albeit offensively stunted play of Monreal, but none of these players possess the skill - set required in the offensive zone for the new Wenger scheme which requires deft touches, timely runs to the baseline and consistent crossing, especially when Giroud was playing and his ratio of scored goals per clear chances was relatively low (better last year though)... obviously I like Bellerin's future prospects, as you can't teach pace, but I do worry that he regressed last season, which was obvious to Wenger because there was no way he would have used Ox as the right side wing - back so often knowing that Barcelona could come calling in the off - season, if he thought otherwise... as for our midfielders, not a single one, minus the more confident Xhaka I watched played for the Swiss national team a couple years ago, who truly makes sense under the traditional Wenger model... Ramsey holds onto the
ball too long, gives the
ball away cheaply far too often and abandons his defensive responsibilities
on a regular basis (doesn't score
enough recently to justify): that being said, I've always thought he does possess a little something special, unfortunately he thinks so too... Xhaka is a little too slow to ever boss the midfield and he tends to telegraph his one true strength, his long
ball play: although I must admit he did
get a bit better during some points in the latter part of last season... it always made me wonder why whenever he played with Coq Wenger always seemed to play Francis in a more advanced role
on the pitch... as for Coq, he is way too reckless at the wrong times and has exhibited little offensive prowess yet finds himself in and around the box far too often... let's face it Wenger was ready to throw him in the trash heap when injuries forced him to use Francis and then he had the nerve to act like this was all part of a bigger Wenger constructed plan... he like Ramsey, Xhaka and Elneny don't offer the skills necessary to satisfy the quick transitory nature of our old offensive scheme or the stout defensive mindset needed to protect the defensive zone so that our offensive players can remain aggressive in the final third...
on the front end, we have Ozil, a player of immense skill but stunted by his physical demeanor that tends to offend, the fact that he's been played out of position far too many times since arriving and that the players in front of him, minus Sanchez, make little to no sense considering what he has to offer (especially Giroud); just think about the quick counter-attack offence in Real or the space and protection he receives in the German National team's midfield, where teams couldn't afford to focus too heavily
on one individual... this player was a passing «specialist» long before he arrived in North London, so only an arrogant or ignorant individual would try to reinvent the wheel and / or not surround such a talent with the necessary components... in regards to Ox, Walcott and Welbeck, although they all possess serious talents I see them in large part as headless chickens who are
on the injury table too much, lack the necessary first - touch and / or lack the finishing flair to warrant their inclusion in a regular starting eleven; I would say that, of the 3, Ox showed the most upside once we went to a back 3, but even he became a bit too consumed by his pending contract talks before the season ended and that concerned me a bit... if I had to choose one of those 3 players to stay
on it would be Ox due to his potential as a plausible alternative to Bellerin in that wing - back position should we continue to use that formation... in Sanchez, we
get one of the most committed skill players we've seen
on this squad for some years but that could all change soon, if it hasn't already of course... strangely
enough, even he doesn't make sense given the constructs of the original Wenger offensive model because he holds onto the
ball too long and he will give the
ball up a little too often in the offensive zone... a fact that is largely forgotten due to his infectious energy and the fact that the numbers he has achieved seem to justify the means... finally, and in many ways most crucially, Giroud, there is nothing about this team or the offensive system that Wenger has traditionally employed that would even suggest such a player would make sense as a starter... too slow, too inefficient and way too easily dispossessed... once again, I think he has some special skills and, at times, has showed some world - class qualities but he's lack of mobility is an albatross around the necks of our offence... so when you ask who would be our best starting 11, I don't have a clue because of the 5 or 6 players that truly deserve a place in this side, 1 just arrived, 3 aren't under contract beyond 2018 and the other was just sold to Juve... man, this is theraputic because following this team is like an addiction to heroin without the benefits
Lacazette always looks dangerous when he
gets the
ball, but with the strength and pace of EPL defenders he doesn't
get much time
on the
ball as our opponents have learned his style of play, but Wenger thinks that he still does
enough for the team even though he can't seem to score any more.
DANNY WELBECK 6.5 Did not really
get enough chance
on the
ball as Arsenal were duly gunned down by Liverpool.
I can't stand welbeck for one reason he's not better than what we have but if you played a front two of welbeck and Sanchez then Cambpell left and Walcott or chaimbo right that would give us a huge counter attacking style with lots of skill and pace, but here is the problem to do this you need big strong DM to win the
ball back when we defend and we do t have them, flaming is reckless and
getting old, Arteta is good
on the Bala but not quick or strong
enough, please don't say Diaby as we all know he will be inj soon again, then also what to do with Ozil and Corzola?
I could see a situation where they double Embiid early, forcing him to pass, and Embiid, wanting to do everything, holds the
ball too long and
gets himself into too many turnover situations, and
on the defensive end isn't able to
get out
on Olynyk fast
enough.
Players scores Chech 8.5 top saves when needed Monreal 7 good steady game as always Mert 6 did ok The boss 6 looked tired Bel 7.5 good game needs work
on crossing Walcot 5 did less than iwobi Cmpbell 7.5 worked hard, in front of ox and walcott anyway Flamini 7 steady Ox 4 poor all game not a clue how he
gets a game Ramsey 5 very selfish player, if barca pay 50m take it and sigh Barkley for 35 Giroud 6.5 missed very good chance and doesn't hold the
ball up at important times but had an ok performance Iwobi 7 did more than walcott in 15 mins Chambers not
on long
enough
i dot even like watching us play anymore bfg and flamini cant be
on at same time when other teams see them
on the team sheet they know if they counter us well
enough they can do us over and famini trying to play rugby and kicking the
ball for trys every attempt
on goal its frustrating to watch and that bfg now omg a ever so slight breeze can
get a
ball around him if giroud came one
on one with mert he would have a field day the only way im playing him is if we park the bus with 5 at the back
When Wilshere is fit then I think he could make a great deep lying playmaker, someone to sit alongside Coquelin and good
enough to make a long pass to link the def to attack or step past a player and then pass the
ball, Wilshere has done fantastic for England when playing a deep lying playmaker and he has been able to rely
on his CM partners to
get the
ball back.
Great going forward but defensively we were fragile AGAIN.Mustafi - what
on God's earth was he thinking about with that clearance that resulted in the free kick for their goal?He is proving himself a liability and Kos wasn't exactly dominant either. That game could have ended 12 - 5 or something ridiculous like that.Still we have
enough to
get through and we would have taken that score line before the game.Ozil was majestic out there last night and Ramsey did what he does best. But Wilshere was very poor and you wonder now if the writing is
on the wall for him.He continually lost the
ball and offered nothing going forward.
Whyare we not playing AMN as our CDM?Jack - Showed passion and tried to

Have a just very good guy could help because their isn't
enough overlap to really hurt but he might could help with the rare occasion a good / very good defender
gets a bad jump / is miss positioned due to a shift / any other reason he can't
get to a
ball it
on the edge of his zone.
Mr Fox, that shows how utterly stupid wenger has been sanchez should have gone in summer right at the beginning of the transfer window, that gives arsenal
enough time to
get someone else in but stupid wenger keeping too much faith in certain players to the annoyance of other players and
on top of that wenger can only play one style of football and that has allowed other teams to nullify our players and sanchez gave the
ball away almost 30 times against Southampton I believe that alone warrants you being benched under ferguson
(1) this squad has way too many moving parts and very few of our players are good
enough at their preferred position let alone relying
on them in whatever position Wenger and his magic eight
ball decide in the tunnel prior to the game... when teams do this it generally signals issues within the club, much like Jose last year and Van Gael before him... no one
gets settled, the chemistry is almost non-existent and if provides a built - in excuse when the team comes up short... these issues fall squarely
on Wenger, both for his decisions regarding players coming in and for his inability to rid the team of those players who aren't cutting it... in actually fact we have only 6 real starters
on this current squad and that's being generous (Sanchez, Ozil, Lacazette, Sead, Kos & Cazorla)... which is discouraging because Cazorla is injured and might never play again, Sanchez is wanting out and the club is lying to us about his injury status, Lacazette receives no service, Ozil is relatively disinterested out there, Kos is
getting up there and Sead is just trying to settle in... there isn't a single other player that would start regularly
on any of the other top 3 teams, which should be the standard... imagine this team moving forward if Wenger only sells before the window closes
not
enough composure in the middle need to hold the
ball...

Watching the game last night was really frustrating when they took giroud off and we were crossing the
ball in to no one walking did nt even look like he was bothered or even
on the pitch u can't cross a
ball to a player like walcott or even play him as a single striker he just ai nt good
enough i really liked walcott but i honestly cant see him as a striker for arsenal, he's better
on the wing, my opinion we should
get dm and spend whatever money is left
on a bloody striker and not a shit 1, someone when a opposing team looks
on the team sheet and thinks ah he's gonna give us some shit today
But ozil as we all knows a skillful player but having only that is not
enough, he has to train hard
on the training to attack resolutely, come back and press
on the opopent s defenders even midfielders to disposes the
ball be a ruthless fighter, otherwise with the performance he has been displaying which doesn't create any impact with the ever
getting stronger premiere league teams, I don't think he deserved to be payed that much.
To me, i feel xhaka is well needed in dis new formation (d 3 -4-3) n moreso, he is a typical arsenal kind of player... can hold
on to d
ball n distribute it with precision... all we need to succeed with dis new formation is to
get a combative football playing midfielder dat can win d
ball n move with it... in d mould of naby keita, verrati n even Everton's gana can do d job or better still, take renato sanchez
on loan... doubt if he is going to
get enough playing time as he would want at bayern dis season again coz of their luxury of midfield player, not sure if he will be in d 1st team with vidal n thiago alcantara unbenchable n anceloti having a soft spot for kimmich (just as wenger has for Ramsey) I think if we propose a loan deal for renato sanchez dah bayern will grant it
Despite the great looks they were
getting all game, Team Schulte just couldn't seem to
get the
ball to stay down
enough on Monday Night..
Telling me players are not to blame is absolutely rubbish, they are to blame, yes Monaco mission was to relax and repell Arsenal and if possible shut them down completely, this gam was ours to take, First the pressure was
on Monaco, they didn't know how to go about it, whether to defend their 3 - 1 advantage or press us, we had more than
enough clear cut chances but as usual we were clueless in front of goal, we tried to open them apart which is impossible, Carzolla and Alexis played as if we lead 15 - 0, holding
balls, try to dribble every time they have the
ball and and reduce the pace and any chance of other to
get through, losing
balls carelessly, poor crosses is now our style, it doesn't threatened even Charlton athletic coz everyone now knows our crosses is poorly delivered and our attackers also don't have a clue how to do it even if one
get through it will be wasted, this game should have been won by range attempts which was only tried once by ÖZIL and was blocked.
It's obvious that he effectively has nowhere else to go.His wages alone preclude any interest from another Club.Factor in a transfer fee and uninspiring form and Arsenal are alone in a desire to have him.Wenger can't bear the thought of a player who originally cost over 40 million pounds having no sell -
on value. However this is a fact.Extend Ozil's contract for another wasteful two years paying him a wage he doesn't deserve and he'll be off to Turkey once he feels that he's banked
enough # 300k weekly wage packets.Any way you look at it Arsenal won't
get their money's worth! As unappetising as it might be Arsenal should play «hard -
ball» and just let him see out the remainder of his contract.
I don't like criticizing Özil, because the more criticism he
gets the worse he seems to become, I think he's trying, but he just doesn't seem strong
enough on the
ball, and this is a (part) European side, so we can't say it is due to the EPL physicality.
