It can
get on the dry side, but I usually am drinking something with it anyway.

Of course, like all doughs, it's a play between wet and
dry ingredients and if your large eggs were actually
on the small
side (this happens to me ALL of the time, where I
get all sorts of sizes in a supposedly «large» dozen) could have meant that less flour was needed.
1) Pre-heat oven to 300 deg Fahrenheit (150 deg cel) 2) Line one large baking sheet (0r two medium baking sheets) with parchment paper 3) In a large bowl, combine the oats, chia seeds, flax seeds, raisins, almonds and other nuts, and mix well 4) In a smaller bowl, whisk together the honey, light brown sugar, melted butter and cinnamon until smooth and sugar has dissolved 5) Pour the honey mixture over the
dry ingredients and stir well until you
get a homogeneous mixture 6) Pour the mixture over the baking sheets and spread evenly with a spatula, then season lightly with sea salt 7) Bake for 15 minutes, then stir the granola gently (to make sure all
sides are cooked) 8) At this point, you may need to switch the baking sheets (if you are using 2) so the granola cooks evenly 9) Bake for another 15 minutes, then stir again, before cooking for a final 15 minutes or until golden brown 10) Remove granola from the oven and place
on cooking racks until completely cool and crisp 11) Store granola in air - tight containers at room temperature.
The whole wheat flour I
get in the States is often hit - or - miss for substituting - I often end up with baked treats that are a bit
on the
dry side.
If your dough runs
on the
dry side, increase your liquid 2 tablespoons at a time until you
get the consistency you want.
Preheat a
dry skillet over medium heat, and quickly sear the cheese
on each
side, until it
gets a nice color, and softens.
Plop each turkey strip into the
dry mixture so it
gets a light coating
on all
sides.
Sprinkling sugar
on the
side that you're searing is like an express track to flavor and browning, so you're
getting the job done in less time (again, less chance to
dry out).
It did take me a few tries, though — ultimately, I learned that you have to err
on the
side of wet dough (if it's * slightly * sticky, this can be easily fixed by flouring the surface, but if it's too
dry / stuff the texture will be totally wrong and there's no easy fix), and I needed to use 4 times the specified amount of baking soda to
get it to puff up as seen in the pictures while cooking (not sure what's going
on there — could be brands, maybe?).
And the arduous work of excavating and plastering the fossil was not the end of the saga, Martill recalls: «Building plaster's
got clay in it and takes ages to
dry, so we looked for firewood — which is not easy to find in a desert — dug a trench
on either
side of the bone and lit fires to encourage it to
dry.»
If you are like me, your oven occasionally (or once a week in my case)
gets burnt
on food
on the bottom, splattered food
on the
sides, or
dried food stuck
on the rack.

I have very thick, long, wavy hair
on the
dry side and oily, but sensitive scalp that

This moisturizer (the blue one) has done WONDERS FOR MY 22 year old combination oily skin, which I cant even call it that anymore because this moisturizer combined eith my skin care regimen has balanced my skin SO WELL, I only
get oily
on the
sides of my nose and
dry patches only sometimes appear right near the top corners
on my mouth
on my cheeks occasionally.
And so forgiving... I was interrupted after mixing the
dry and wet ingredients together and when I
got back to the kitchen, the mix was a bit
on the
dry side.

By the time I
got to the other
side of the bottom piece, the
side I started
on was already
dry so there was no down time waiting for the piece to
dry.
Sometimes I will spray it
on a drop cloth,
getting all that is visible then letting it
dry, flip it over and spray it from the other
side.
